Need help for second brew

Idk if it makes much of a difference or if it's just personal preference but after my first brew I noticed something. Some people heat the carrier oil up then add the powder and then ba/bb. The way I did it was I added powder and ba/bb and heated it until it dissolved then added the oil to it.

Is one way proven better then the other or is it just personal preference?

Also with the way that I did it (melt powder ba/ba, then add oil) should I let it sit for a bit on heat/stir to make sure it all is evenly mixed and dissolve? I noticed after i was done adding it all together if i stirred it then swirls would appear. I was nervous thinking that they weren't combining. Hopefully I'm making sense to someone.

Good questions.

There are a few different ways to skin this cat. I personally add BB and hormone, let a little heat go to work and those two will dissolve into each other. I'll add the carrier and with the heat still on I will start up the magnetic mixer part of my hot plate and let it mix. I'll add the BA after some time and let it continue to mix. I'll let it mix for 30 min with 1000cc, 15 min for 500cc, 10 min for 250cc. When I add the BA at the end I'll reset that predetermined timeframe (1000cc, 500cc, 250cc) and let it mix again.

I have 2 sticking points outside of sterility: properly mixing the gear and adding the BA at the end. I read somewhere that the heat may make the BA evaporate so if I put it in last I figure it stands a better chance of not evaporating. I have zero science behind the BA evaporation claim. It just stuck in my head and that's how I've done it ever since.

Those swirls you talk about aren't indicative of anything bad as well, imo. What did you brew?

I have been adding hormone, BB, and BA together. Then adding enough oil to keep it under my final desired volume. Very light heat on my glass top stove. It doesn't take long for Test Cyp (250).

Definitely will be adding the BA later now though. Good advice.

Thanks for the info ill be trying your way next time. I brewed test p, mast p, and tren a. Is it ok that after i added the oil to powder and ba/bb I didn't let it seat on heat like you did? I just stirred it and assumed that was enough to evenly mix it all.

Prob fine. What was your total volume being brewed?

IMO preheating oil is less forgiving of unintended overheating or hot spots in plate.

Unlike raws (especially Tren), Oil can withstand moderately high temps.
So better to preheat oil, if it gets SAY 10, 20,30 degrees over your target temp, no big deal just allow it to cool slightly before adding raws.

Hint: cup warmers work nicely for small beakers, widely available and cheap
but make sure they have a mid-temp setting. Otherwise they may run too hot for Tren.

Avoid WATER baths.
They emit water vapor that oil may absorb = cloudy gear.
Either use low temp warmer plates or OIL baths, again NEVER WATER.
