Need help thinking through my blood results TRT w/ HGH

Hey all!

I've been on trt for about 10 years (I'm 52), 120mg/week cyp. Keeps my levels around the 700'ish mark - give or take a little.

I recently started 4iu's of hgh (underground lab - not prescribed), 2 morning and 2 night. After a month of this protocol I had blood tested to see how things were looking. I tested fasted on a Monday morning, about 3 hours after my gh shot. Cyp hadn't been administered since Friday morning (Mon/Fri injections).

My results were very alarming. Total Test was 1588 ng/dL, Free Test 485 pg/mL.

The first thing I thought of was...my gh is fake and is hgc, which would explain the rise in my test levels. But my IGF 1 was at 380, where 3 months prior it was at 157.

So clearly something is causing the igf to increase, but what the hell is causing my test to jump so damn high? Any suggestions?

120 mg q.w. testosterone typically yields TT & fT values in this region. It's a cycle, not TRT.

The increase (a > two-fold one) in IGF-I suggests to me that:

1. More sensitive & accurate testosterone assays that may be applied in your more recent testing, and

2. Legitimate rhGH being used with average GH response

are the most likely factors converging on your bloodwork results.

May I ask, what do you consider a true trt? It's very interesting topic and over the years now most do agree, that legit trt is closer to 100-125mg/weekly not considered the outliers. Would be really interesting to hear your view on what's a true trt.

85 mg q.w. testosterone enanthate or cypionate, 150 mg q.o.w., 250 mg q.3.w., titrated up or down to biochemical measures taken at the mid-point interval, typically does it.
