Need help what actually purchasing. Stupid coinbase can’t help with shit

I’m about to actually make my first purchase but i’m running into issues with bitcoin. Coinbase shut my account down and cashapp doesn’t even let me make a purchase. What bitcoin apps do you guys use? I already have my bac water and needles i just need to make this final order, it’s driving me nuts.

You need to open a new account on kraken or something, then learn how to move your coins to your own wallet before buying anything. If you sent or have sent anything directly from coinbase or cashapp to a vendor, then you have/will be fucking up. Transfer out of the exchange first.

you should do more research on how cryptocurrency works. Sounds like you don't have a clue since you refer to a 'bitcoin app' instead of a 'cryptocurrency wallet' which is what you really need.

Coinbase is an exchange that allows you to use real world funds to purchase crypto. But make no mistake, they control that money until you send it off the exchange. They provide you with a wallet address to store these funds but unless you (and you alone) know your seed phrase you don't actually own or have agency over the money in that wallet.

Get a storage wallet like Exodus, Metamask or Trust Wallet. Better yet would be to get a cold storage wallet like Ledger but that costs money (it's also a bazillion times more secure).

There are plenty of resources online to help you understand the complexities of crypto.

I have my bank purchase the bitcoin and then I run it through my credit card.

Robinhood makes it pretty easy. They have an app to trade and a wallet. You can send and receive from both.
