Need Help

Okay, I have a friend who I fronted 28 amps of sus, and 400 dbol. He owes me about a 1,000$ HE says that he got arrested yesterday in a local town. We live in a very small town wehre nothing happens. He got caught with them, 640$ and they say he took his phone. Nothing was in the paper about it which is really suprising since he says hes out on bail. I always hear phreezer and stuff talking about how you can find out about arrests. How do i go about doing this so i can see if hes telling the truth. Thanks
