Hello! I used GLPs from June 2023 to March 2024 with mixed results. I came here and have been reading up on all things weight loss to find some direction and motivation.

My summarized story for anyone who may have advice or criticism is:

43F, very unhealthy in my youth. Smoked cigarettes 1993 to 2020. Did meth from 1994-2016. Was lucky enough to walk away from both cold turkey without incident. Gained A LOT of weight. I'm 5'3, 250lbs. Highest was 272. In June 2023, I started Sema (X was the supplier) and followed all the titration guidelines. I lost 28 lbs by the end of December with diet changes.

Thought all was going well, but then I plateaued. I started on a stationary bike, one hour daily of moderate activity. I also do light yoga. I haven't lost any fat or had any change in skeletal muscle readings since the start of the year. My doctor tells me my past heavy drug use has had no negative impact on my metabolism and is not a factor in my inability to drop weight. His advice is to keep following diet and exercise guidelines and make adjustments until I start seeing more results.

I'm a vegetarian and I find meat disgusting. I'm not a strict vegetarian, I just don't like meat. I use optimum nutrition whey protein, I eat a lot of egg whites and beans, protein bars, etc. to get my macros where they need to be. I have been mindful of my soy intake for the last 8 years steady.

I came here to research possible options because I'm SO TIRED of being obese. It's exhausting in every aspect of life.

In my readings throughout the forum thus far, I've come across tesofensine and clenbuterol as possibilities. I'm overwhelmed by the massive number of options, so I'm going slow and steady in my research to make sure I understand everything before choosing what to try.

Like I mentioned above, please feel free to hit me up with any advice or criticism! I'm at the start of what I hope will be a new lease on life.

Clen at your size could prove to be fatal and how about fish instead of meat like low fat fish wild salmon tuna in spring water and sea bass
You need some natural protein to actually eat real food imo
Next if you are in caloric deficit and tracking it properly you will lose weight as your expenditure is more than intake
Lastly if you want to risk it and take drugs
I’d say vaser liposuction would be better as a choice for weight lose and if your afraid of your eating take Metformin now and in the future

Thank you for your reply and advice! Definitely good to know about the clen, I will avoid that at all costs. I can't do fish at all. I decided yesterday I will add turkey into my diet and see if I can stomach that. Vaser lipo and met are now my new study subjects! Thanks again!
