New But Not New!

I don’t think I ever posted my own “introduction” post. I posted in the New Member Rules Introduction post…

Back in June after being on TRT for 3 years (initially 200mg/wk test c first year, then Xyosted for 1.5 years, then back to test c 200mg/wk for 6 mths), started having horrible lipid panels.. Wasn’t working out. Habitual yo-yo-er.. Consumed with impulsive eating and work and life. Dr. said I’m giving you 3 mths to clean this up or you have to get on a statin and get a heart scan as well. Fuck that, was not going to supplement my laziness with medication.

Soooo, I started diving into peptides and the obvious, working out again. Going down the rabbit hole Reta entered the chat. On top of 1, 2, 3, to 6 days a week of working out.. What a life saver. Within the first 2 weeks I noticed food noise was disappearing.. First time in my life!! Started obsessing about my health. After all it’s your wealth! 4 mths later went from 255 to 220.. Lipids went from horrible to damn near perfect! Starting dose of Reta was 500mcg eod. Titrated up to 1.5mg eod and then the pinning was getting out of control so I switched over to 2mg 2x/wk. Currently I’m up to 4mg 2x/wk where I’ve met goal weight and transitioned into aiming at 10% bf goal. Idk if I’ll meet it this go around, as I’m getting ready to start bulking for a few mths, then I shall attempt again.

This forum has provided me with an incredible amount of knowledge. Huge shoutout to @Ghoul for dropping straight knowledge on all facets, but especially with HGH. Everyone else as well who has pitched in while I’m sitting in the back soaking it all in.. My journey on the HGH front started in October and I'm thoroughly pleased with my progress.

Attaching my June, October, and Nov. lipids, along with IGF/zscore baseline to 4 weeks on 4iu. Just did bloods again today so interested in seeing where I’m at currently. Hoping I have some wiggle room on that zscore to up from 4-6iu.

Starting weight: 255 Current: 210
TRT 200mg/wk
Reta 4mg 2x/wk (fixing to start going down to maintenance)
HGH 4iu nightly
Anavar 35mg/day

Peptides I’ve ran:
Reta (currently)
Klow (currently)
Mots-C (currently)
Bpc-157
Tb500
Glow
Epitalon

Welcome to Meso Rx , ;)

Nice work

Nothing wrong with treating lipids. It's literally a life saving.

Don't refuse cardiac imaging. It also can be lifesaving.

Get a calcium score. Then an echo... hopefully after that your dr will send you for a cardiac mri and / or ct angiogram

Calcium Score test only shows plaques that have already hardened. You need more imaging to see any soft plaques that haven't hardened yet.... and those can possible be the more dangerous. Calcified plaques are stable.

Make a treatment plan to get that ldl down and hdl up. A statin, ezetimibe or repatha. Or a combo. whatever it takes.

Whats your blood pressure?

I might see about scheduling all that? Is the calcium score in my cmp?

122/78 today before they drew.

That was from the end of Nov.

I’ve started taking fish oil, and
psyllium husk.. on top of integrating 3-4 liss sessions a week for now. Need to check out those scans just to have them..

No, a calcium score is a basic cardiovascular CT scan

it's usually a self pay, self schedule, preventative care type thing.

Just google calcium score and the name of the city you are in and you will find which health networks offer them

They are usually $50

After that, follow up with your cardiologist

Blood pressure 120/70 or lower is the goal You are probably in a good range when you wake up.

Your AST is elevated, probably from the anavar.

Do you know what it was before you started anavar?

If it stays elevated, get a GGT to check your liver health

At the time of that test I wasn’t on Anavar.. started that 12/15. The was probably 3 weeks before. The DrS said it could be from over training. My dumbass trained legs the day before the draw. Learned my lesson. The draw before it was at 25.

For our use here, most guys will order a ggt on their panels because its a liver marker that is not affected by training.

Just keep a ggt in mind for the next time you order bloodwork

The kidney equivalent would be a cystatin-c test
