“New” Custom Panel

imthankful

So I have seen goodlabs pop up in a few different threads and I did use them for recent bloods. I thought it would be cool to see if a “custom” panel could be made of common labs pulled. With the contribution of the labs @Ghoul routinely pulls I reached out to good labs directly and they made a specific panel. When shopping tests (for quest only) the last panel is labeled Body Builder Panel. Panel is $280, $61 less than ordering each independently, and the below sign up link gives 20% off first order (shameless plug, bastards, this took a few days of my time). Included tests below.

CBC
CMP
Lipids
Lipo A
Test F/T
Estradiol LC/MS
DHT
TSH
T3 Free
T4 Free
hs-CRP
PSA
Cystatin C
GGT
IGF-1
CoQ10
Omegas

When would you plan to do this?
Once a year?
I don't think most people need a lp(a), coq10, omega or PSA test monthly? I'd add ferritin and TIBC as well.

The price savings is quite interesting tho, I wonder if I can get Fitomics to do something for me.

Yea, I did mention that omegas, coq10, and lipo an are less frequent but they were included anyways. If we can get a larger consensus of what people want I am sure they will tweak it as needed, very cool group of people over there. Or even remove the less commons and have them as add ons or something when the main panel is selected

Worth a shot on Fitomics, I did this when I had nothing better to do at work and actually had something come to fruition

Revisions incoming @Ghoul @Photon they said they can pulling lp(a) omega coq10 and hopefully will be available add ons at the discount pricing. looking at adding Hba1c, prolactin, vitamin D, apob, maybe dhea - thoughts?

Just wanted to ping here and say that I've used this panel twice now... It works well :)

Fasting Insulin and Hba1c are definitely two that I add to keep track of HGH impacts.

DHT is an expensive test. I like having it, but to keep cost reasonable, I think you could drop it and add some important others like SHBG, prolactin, hemoglobin A1C, Iron, and Ferritin. Could probably also squeeze in progesterone and DHEA-s.

No, the test listed on the GoodLabs panel is 30289.
Indeed, I had to use computer to see the test code, can’t on phone
Finally a package that comes with all the right tests.

thank you and goodlabs for doing this.
Happy too, I was tired of going through and selecting it all every time lmao
For those who don't math, it comes to $190 after the ever-present 20% discount.
Yes, but it also saves 30$ something bucks off the top versus buying each individually, I believe

As before, they’re trying to expand their blood donations at centers in which you will receive free tests for - in the mean time if there’s a diff panel or tests yall want throw it in here and I’ll try to get it added

Do they offer blood donations?

Do they offer blood donations?
Yes, right now I believe it’s primarily in the San Fran area. That’s the main focus for them right now is getting more donation centers to partner with. Red Cross is prob a no go since they really do their own thing. If you donate at a small center it’d be worth the convo to see if they’re game
