Hi everyone,

35 yo, male, Canada here.

Been lifting since 19 and feel like I’ve plateau’d. I haven’t progressed much for years now. I have never done a cycle.

Never thought I would even think about using until I looked at myself in the mirror and I was like wtf have I been doing for the past 15 years.

I’ve been training, dieting following everything to a T and my body is just nowhere near my ideal physique.

First I thought about the cons and staying natural would be in my best interest since I don’t even compete- especially when I don’t think I’m genetically gifted to enhance myself. Also that it would be too much of a hassle.

Then I thought to myself I’m already devoting a lot of my time to training and dieting and I’m nowhere near happy with my physique. Why not just maximize my efforts, get the most out of it. Instead of trying to chase an unattainable goal. Why not try to exceed my genetic potential.
At 35 it’ll just be downhill from here anyways.

I’ve been researching for almost a year now. Never made an account until now that I wanted to start. And then realizing that reputable reps will not accept me as a client being that I’m a new guy.

I guess I’ll have to wait and be patient and just soak up more knowledge and re reading...I guess. Not sure what else to do...

I’m a very private and like to keep to myself kind of guy. Seeing the people in my gym, I doubt anybody is on something and even if someone was I’m not sure I’d ask or know how to ask.

Anyways, I started lifting after graduating HS. I used to be 125lbs. Super skinny, didn’t realize how skinny I really was until watching my video yearbook at my friends place.

Bulked to 180lbs that year and thought I looked good but then recently saw a pic and I actually just looked like a fat blob.

I cut down to 140lbs and looked skinny asf. After becoming more knowledgeable about my diet and training I steadily gained to 165lbs and now I’ve been stuck around as low as 155lbs shredding in the summer and 170lbs bulking in the winter and have bulked as much as to 200lbs but cutting down from that weight was incredibly hard so stopped doing that and I’ve been stuck like this for 6 years now. I try to keep myself around 10%-18%bf during winter months.

And after every cut it’s getting harder and harder for me to lean out and gain or even maintain if anything.

Stats 5’10” ectomorph currently 164lbs and started bulking for the winter.

Anyways...sorry for the long intro. Didn’t realize I was rambling.

Thank you for the welcome guys. I’ll do my best to contribute. I know this is gonna be a long term commitment and all I can do is contribute to the community on my experiences. Once I can get a hold of quality sources.

You should start reading the steroid profiles, also there is no such thing as an "ectomorph." At least not in the sense you think.
