Hey all, I go by D. Recently joined, was reading through some material while waiting for approval. A bit about myself. Am in my 30’s. Spent most of my 20’s doing No Bueno. Exercised a lot in HS. Did mainly weight lifting. Through my 20’s took a relatively long bender off the wagon. Decided to get back into the past few years. Now focus on calisthenics. Working towards building muscle. Always had a hard time putting on while, even while being consistent. Did a “bulk” recently using prohormones to try and gain something, unfortunately even at 4000 calories a day and over 200g protein per day(yes I tracked, weight was at 195) I still wouldn’t put on weight. Only to find it was due to higher BF. Was resting around 20-21% BF. Interestingly, I came across this before only to forget this crucial point.

Ended the bulk in March of this year and decided I need to get down to 10-12% BF before I try putting on some size. Now in June, I’m resting at about 14% @175. Still grinding to get those lower numbers. Oh, I do incorporate the carnivore diet. The mental effects alone are what keep me on it. Nevertheless, as having already stated..I don’t want to go into my “later” years still not having the physique I’ve always wanted. Did blood work to find out where I’m at. Came back “good” for the most part aside from having to Donate because of higher hematocrit. Well. That’s enough for now I think. Look forward to getting Swole peeps.
