New lease on life

Greetings Brothers.

I used to work out but family, life got in the way. I set my health aside to focus on what matter most, only to realize that i was 380lbs and could no longer take care of my responsibilities because i had ignored my health. I started GLp1 which helped, but then got test for low T i was 178 i am sure because i was way to fat.

TRT is what gave me the motivation i needed to start working out and walking again. So I am now down 70lbs and still loosing steadily. I am focusing on me getting my health right this year and then going forward I will make sure to stay on it. I feel like a fit man in a fat guys body. So i am pushing hard to have the outside match the new me.

I am interested in TRT+ and maybe occasionally a bit more to become the best version of me that I can be proud of, and keep up with the demands of life.

I have been devouring training and anabolic information at several hours every day for months now. But there is alot to learn if you wan to do it "safely".

Looking to keep learning and growing.

Don't keep the idea that "a bit more drugs" is what will make you the best version.

There likely will not be a time where anabolic drug use is warranted for you.

How old are you? How long were you 400 pounds?

It sounds like you are doing some great things for yourself. If you want to be a hobbyist / enthusiast in this, focusing on learning bloodwork and ordering extensive testing for yourself is probably a good place to start. Get obsessed with sports nutrition. Get obsessed with your training. If you are 40ish or older, look for a calcium score test in your area and / or try to get other cardiac imaging. Chase your health right now, not drugs.

I was not 380 for very long. Longer then i wanted to be. 5 years ago i was 250, with a descent amount of muscle. But the "cough" happened and i started working from home that was probably the biggest change, i didn't switch to home workouts or anything. I got two jobs about that same time and kids so i was focusing on that and not my health, until one day i woke up i realized it was effecting my ability to take care of my responsibilities. I did a lot of yoyo dieting during that time, so the last couple years were by far the worst. I am 38 now.

My goal with anabolics is to go low and slow and get back to where i should have been if i had stuck with working out ect. So i am not looking to get huge. But i have always been strong, well till, this happened. and i want to get that back.

Once I get to where i want to be I will just be trying to maintain for the long term.

So the docs have had you on TRT? How much have you ran?

What does your current diet and training look like?
Yes i am going to a clinic. I am at 200mg/wk which puts my total test at 921 and my e2 at 68.

I am walking 5 miles 5 days a week, 2.5miles in the morning fasted with a 25lb pack. And 2.5miles at night.

I also am adding in this week, 5-10min sessions on stationary bike on the hour every hour during my work day for a total of 1 hour.

4 days a week I am doing full body workout with dumbbells and a bench.

My diet is 1800 calories
210Pro
100carb
62fat

Nice stuff man you sound like you really have things dialled in.. Also great hormone results for what you are using weekly..

So what exactly would you be looking for from the trt+ route.. Maybe abit more weight lifting oriented or stick more to your cardio type stuff? Will be nice to keep up with your progress bro

AAS should probably take a back seat for now until you get down to allt least mid 200s.

Peptides and ppar agonists on the other hand I would say go balls to the wall.
Mate of mine who was 140ish kilo last year was at me over and over again about jumping on a cycle to hit his goals but I gave him the same advice and he's only just finished his first cycle after getting down to around 90kg.

If you ask me that's the way to go. Treat peptides, glp1s, ppars etc. as the steroids of fat loss for people looking to come back from obesity.

My goal is really a recomp. I obviously have to keep loosing the weight so, that is the main focus for the next 3-6 months, but then I really want to get big, nothing to extreme, basically my genetic potential i know that is a vague term, but i was thinking something above men's physique level. I just want to look like i lift, and more importantly i want my strength back. In high school and college i took weightlifting classes and my nickname was the hulk, and i lived on a farm and my nickname was tractor. I want that feeling back, and i know i have a long ways to go. At the same time I am working today in a field where i cannot just blow up over night. So i have to stay with the dryer compounds and go a little slower, that is why I say trt+. I do want to do a decent first cycle in about 6 months from now, i should be lean enough then to do it. But then i will stay at trt+ for slower gains.

I do have a log on another forum, not sure if they have the same type of logging here.

I agree for the most part.

My main driver is reta, i was doing tirz for my first 50 then i slowly switched over.
For this phase 1 of my recomp, I am doing cardarine for 12 weeks. I want to really push the cardio. I am only doing 12 weeks and then never taking it again. Hoping that doesnt mess me up to bad someday in the future.

I am taking l carnitine injections with that. And i have the wolverine stack for as needed healing as i push my body.

And this friday i should be getting some HGH which i will start for recovery and added weight loss.

At the same time because i am pushing my endurnace and also wanting to start seeing how i respond to different aas i am running 100mg of primo to see how it effects my e2.

Ill then take a 8 weeks where i just drop back to reta to rest my body and see where my baseline is again, the numbes should be really good at this point. and then start phase 3

Once i get down to about 250 or 240 i will start my first real cycle but try to lean bulk so i can keep loosing that last bit of weight from the research i have done i should be able to do that pretty well.
