Not really. Just thought that would get some attention here. 40 years old. Have lifted on and off through the years. Never super serious. I have finally started taking it significantly more serious the last 6 months. Have lost 60 lbs in the last 5 months. 6'2" 198 lbs. Just here to learn from people that know alot more than I do.

do health things

learn a lot about blood testing and what to order for yourself

get cardiac imaging. start with a calcium score, then an echo, then mri and or ct angiogram

Whats your blood pressure?

What have your cholesterol blood tests looked like for the past 10 years?

Don't touch any ped's until you lose some more weight and get all your health risks checked out

I have been doing blood testing for the last few months. Eat very clean. Clean carbs and protein. Almost no saturated fat.

Normal blood pressure.

Fucked. I have familial hypercholesterolemia. Just got on Crestor, Ezetimibe, and every possible supplement under the sun to get that in check.

I use 140mg Test P weekly. That is all I plan on ever doing PED-wise. How much more weight should I lose? 6'2" 198 seems like a pretty decent number to begin with. I would like to touch 190, but already feel like I am looking a bit small.

Normal blood pressure.
Normal can be different to everyone

120/70 max.

What are the actual numbers from your last test? If you aren't responding to your treatment protocal now, talk with your Dr about repatha.

Get a calcium score dude. They are an easy self pay preventative test. Usually $50 bucks. Keep in mind that it will only show hard plaques, not soft plaques. But if you present with an elevated calcium score, that will be your pathway to more advanced testing to see what you have going on.

You were an overweight person with genetically elevated cholesterol. Don't think you are the somehow the only person on earth to escape that unharmed. Find a path to cardiac imaging, Get a better treatment plan for your cholesterol.

Get lean to where you can see chest veins . If you can only see shoulder veins you are 20% +. Chest veins, 12-14ish % Ab veins 10%

Being above 12-15% right now is not a benefit.

Get as lean as you can, then build some muscle with a precise food plan and some hard as fuck training.

I am well within that range. 115/68 or something when I checked it last night.

Like 220 LDL and 55 HDL. ApoB over 100. I am truly a fucking moron for not getting this under control much sooner in my life. I will schedule a calcium score test today.

So was I, so I preach it to others. I'm 48 and my first calcium score came back at 42, which my cardiologist told me was like 90th percentile for my age. I went on to have a cardiac MRI and CT Angiogram, which more accurately calculated my calcium score at 78

But, I don't have any soft plaques or blockages. Hopefully hypervigilance from now on saves my ass

I’m in USA how do I get a calcium score and echo without doctor order?

Do a google search for calcium score core and the name of whatever city you are in. Most large health networks offer them as self pay, self serve preventative care.

You can do the same thing for "self pay echocardiogram"

..... Self pay cardiac MRI

...............Self pay ct angiogram

Or if you have a primary care physician here in the states, visit them after getting your calcium score and talk about a referral to a cardiologist.
