Hey folks, I'm a Mid-late 30s man. Married, and a father to a young toddler.

Joined the community to learn and maybe contribute.

Currently, my goals are to lose weight, improve my Lipids panels, reverse early naflds signs, get in shape, and get stronger again without injuries. Im a big and tall guy, beginning my current phase of focused weight loss at 400lbs, currently down to 365 in a little less than 3 months.

Some context on my exercise background:
Im a long time lifter, mainly focused on strength training for sports. I've competed in Juco sports, D1 football, Rugby, and Strongman.

I've recently ran my bloods. Low HDL, Ldl is high around 106, elevated alt, and testosterone was around 200. My PCP wants me to just focus on weight loss and doesnt want to consider trt.

I've never dabbled with Aas. Right now ive been on GLP1s and learning/experimenting with some peptides - bpc/tb, tesamorelin/ipamorelin.

Im trying to get back on a good lifting schedule, but that's always the hardest battle with work, life, and family.

Looking forward to being more active in the community!

You have low t because it's all aromatizing to estrogen because of your excess fat. Stay on the glp. Loose 100 pounds. I guarantee your test will go up. The only thing adding test will do for you right now is raise your e2 even higher.

Fat cells contain aromatase enzymes. The more fat you have, the more aromatase enzymes your body produces. That means the majority of your test will be aromatized into estrogen. It's a vicious cycle and the only solution is to lose a lot of fat.

You're 365 pounds, even if you're strong as an ox, you're still more than 100 pounds over weight. Up your GLP and drop that weight as fast as you can. Everything in your body will thank you for it.

Ty for the response. My current thought process aligns with your suggestions. My goal is weight loss and monitoring bloods to see how things change over the next 6 months to a year.

Some thoughts of trt have me thinking it would help the weightloss and aid in continuing to grow strength. But, I'm trying to be patient and wait to see outcomes from focusing on weight loss a good 6-12 months.

I know trt seems like a magic bullet, but all the social media advertisements fail to mention the challenge of e2 management with excess bodyweight. High e2 will sabotage everything you're trying to accomplish right now.

You also might consider getting a ultra sensitive estradiol test if you didn't get it when you did your blood work. Enclomiphene could be useful right now to lower the amount of test being converted to e2 and keep your test a little higher. Not something you want to do very long term or at high dose, but it will at least carry you while your losing the weight to get to a point where you can start implementing trt.
