Hi-

Recently joined. My particulars:

- Male, 5ft6 currently weighing 144.4lb
- 50 years of age and live a healthy lifestyle
- Worked out on an off for years, got a dad bod in the later years around COVID, then during COVID got down to 6% body fat and built a decent gym in my basement (2020).
- I have been pushing the gym hard since then and have remained below 12% body fat.
- Went on to TRT recently due to hypogonadism and other factors
- Very recently started 2 IU of HGH

My Mission
- Likely due to the hypo as well as being too focused on keeping my body fat low, a lot of my gym progress hasn't been great - barely ever in a surplus.
- I went on TRT in Jan, got on CJC/Ipa and managed to get up to 144.4lb at 7% body fat from ~138lb and similar-ish body fat %.
- I took a month off after that push with TRT, and now I am looking to push harder.

New Interests
- I have begun to look at how I can optimize myself, and push myself, with TRT and other compounds. Possibly a rabbit hole, but I have never felt better and I am here to see what I can learn and grow from, and I am not afraid to look at an arc with anabolics or other compounds.

Thanks.

Kudos on keeping low BF. Maybe you can give some other members tips.

Welcome, brother — sounds like you’ve already done a ton of the hard work dialing in your foundation. Respect on the body fat discipline and commitment through COVID — not many came out of that better than they went in.

You’re in a great spot now with TRT and HGH as a base. I can relate to the optimization rabbit hole — once you start seeing the potential and feeling better, it’s hard not to explore deeper. Just keep health at the center and avoid chasing short-term gains at the cost of long-term vitality.

Curious: how are you feeling since starting HGH? Sleep, recovery, and skin quality are usually the early signs. Also, are you tracking labs regularly (IGF-1, lipids, fasted insulin, etc.) to guide your approach? Sounds like you’re already smart about it, but those numbers can be powerful tools to fine-tune what you’re doing.

Hi -

Thanks for your thoughts and great questions. This is my second week on HGH and I am not sleeping well. I am still early days so hoping a shift will come.

On the bloods, this is an area I am ratcheting up my focus on - I have my basic testosterone related numbers but not the IGF-1 etc - this I am getting from Quest on Saturday - doing a full bodybuilder panel. I do intend to be very data driven along with how I am feeling.

Thank you again.
