Don't really feel like a new guy because I've been reading threads on here for almost a year. Finally decided to get signed up because as soon as my blood work comes back I'm going to have some specific questions for some of the more mature "in age" people on here. It almost feels like to much information sometimes reading through all the threads.
I'm 48, good shape, been lifting for years but father time is starting to catch up and I'm looking for a little boost. Nothing to hardcore, just something to even the playing field with the young guys I work with. I was a big user in the 80's, uneducated and hoping for the best and fortunately made it out with my junk in tact and working. Unfortunately I have a few friend from back in the day that weren't as lucky. Al Gore hadn't invented the internet yet so resources were limited to the biggest dude in the gym and doing what he was doing. I've learned a lot and man how things have changed in 30+ years. Look forward to continuing my education here and thanks in advance for all those that help us newbies out!!
