Here's my tid bit of advice for noobs and even a few vets.
When you get your pack of gear you need to have a close look at what's in the vials. The most common scenario for getting contaminated gear is when your UGL Brewer blows out his filter.
Lots of ugl's use these vacuum filters that can rupture the membrane when the vacuum is set too high.
I've only seen it one time myself but I was really glad I looked. Little flakes and fibers floating around in the oil.
Too small to see with the naked eye. I always use a Jeweler's loupe. Those little 10 x magnifiers you use to look at marijuana up close.
So Not only would that gear have filter fibers, it would basically be unfiltered as well. Not a good combo.
In the big scheme of things getting fake gear, underdosed gear, ripped off, that shit's a fuckin walk in the park compared to getting an abscess or infection.
