They seemed to have the personality of about a 1-1.5 y/o lab their whole life. I you wanna run and be very active with the dog, I think it's a nice choice.

I think the lab comparison is a poor choice imo...maybe demeanor wise because they are gentle giants but weims are way way more active. They remind me more of hounds or other bird dogs, cracked out attentive, like hyper focus on anything moving. Labs will work now dont get me wrong, but his weims are like bat shit crazy ready to jump out the truck and b-line it. They are ultra lean too.
I think a lot of skin issues can be cleared up with a good grain free diet usually

Dog talk is always welcome here man @TANGO.ECHO.KILO I thought pups were supposed to have loads of energy. After I lifted yeaterday I took her to the park for about an hour. Then when we got home I wanted to do a little more cardio so I went to take her out again and she would just sit. Fighted walking so bad
As I said, never owned one... Just periodically interacted with them. We always had rotts, pits, mastiffs, labs and bulldogs growing up.

I think they are great dogs def wasn't a slight on them. When I pick a dog outta the litter I usually look for the one who has the natural connection and strong eye contact, but number 1 is fire. I like a spark plug...they are fun to own.... always something.

He jumps to my chest right now and I'm standing at 5"11 - he did make about a good 5 foot clearance the other day into my truck bed. I was merely impressed as fuck, then he turned around and jumped onto my neck lmao. He has a the clingiest personality. He sits beside me and won't go to anyone until I say go. Won't eat until I say eat. Sits down to wait for food to be poured. Has a habit of wanting to get into my lap like a pup and he has to put his paws around my neck and dig his head into mine. My favorite dog I've ever had for sure.

Glad to have you along bro! And 5 mastiffs.. Wow.. My parents have one and that thing is huge and slobbers all over the place.. It's a retarded gentle giant.. Super sweet but has no clue it's huge and thinks it's a lap dog hahaha
Lol!!! Yeah i have no shortage of slobber. They are great dogs, i used to breed them and have owned close to 20 over the years. I really like how good they are with kids. My kids can pull a juicey steak outta their mouth and i wouldnt even be slightly worried about a bite. A stranger however isnt safe if they come un announced. Especially around the Italian.

And my parents mastiff sounds like it will kill anyone it doesn't know but it is the biggest scaredy cat of a dog I have ever seen. Super sweet and anytime I see it I have to change clothes from the slobber haha. That dog is a hoot for sure
Actually i had eight a cpl years ago but ive had some pass on[emoji17]. The last one passed about 2 months ago, he was 12. Lived a long happy life. Ill find some pics to post that i like of the pack but till then i have one i recently took of the Italian.
I gave this one to my daughter and i kept the sister. Ill get pics of her too.
