Apologies of this is in the wrong sub forum, but Men's Health doesn't seem to get much traffic...
So I'm looking for advice on how to handle my programming now that I'm getting pinned e7d. My old program had been basically StrongLifts 5x5 on fri-sun-tues, and my current stats (last successfully completed 5x5 session) are 285 squat, 180 bench, 315 dead... (I've also been doing heavier doubles and triples on Deads, and lighter w higher reps on squats as I have greater strength capacity from years ago, but I'm also wanting to take it easy with weight on my back until my body is more used to carrying heavy weight on my back 3 times a week)
Anyway, I always shied away from accessories in the past out of fear of shit like tendonitis and torn rotators... I'm expecting to keep doing the major lifts 3 to 4 days a week and think maybe I should add I some accessories now as well? Plus the elephant in the room is cardio and my complete lack of it/hatred for it...
What kind of 4 day split would you guys recommend for someone like me? Also I'm 34, currently 241 lbs, nutrition is pretty on point, primary short term goal is recomposition into, ohh, let's say Brad Pitt physique in fite club... As far as my equipment, I have a half cage at my house w 350 lbs of plates plus a shit ton of kettlebells, and I can safely and securely load a max of 421 on my bar right now (w 24kg KBs hanging off the ends. Lol, whatever works amirite?)
Anyway, advice from people w powerlifting and/or trt experience would be much appreciated.
