New Vehicle

The 6.0 got a bad rap but like most in my experience is mostly unwarranted. Thats not to say the folks who had coolant leaking in to their block was OK. I generally feel bad for ppl who got lemmons. Pay that much and quality should be the same across the board. But for whatever reason the invention of interchangeable parts built on a mass scale puts a kink in things. And EVERY manufacturer has those problems. Yes, even toyota which seems to escape criticism despite a warehouse full of complaints(literally) that has been neatly tucked away due to threats of law suits.

I used to have a f350 with a flat bed equipped with a 6.0 and a stick. Used it to haul colonial stone pallets out of the woods. A pallet equals roughly a ton and i routinely stacked 4 pallets (8,000lbs) on the frame rails and brought them to market. It was as reliable as the sun rises everyday. Even grossly overworked and overloaded constantly. I could pull the big hills in the adirondacks in OD at 63 mph without losing a tick, fully loaded.

I like the old fashioned pushrod port injection 5.7 hemi. But its outdated now. Really is. The little 5.0 ford makes produces 90 more hp in stock form than the larger Hemi. The challenger seems like a nice cruiser but in no way is on par with its competition. You have to step up to the more expensive 6.2 hellcat, scat pack or demon to overcome that little 5.0. So were not comparing apples to apples then.

Apples to apples would be the 5.7 challenger vs the 5.0 stang. And in that comparison the stang wins everytime. Id be interested to hear what you dont like about em. It would be valuable to me.
The 6.0 egr has issues mostly due to improper long idling habbits (not idling up when they should)

Sorry bout the delay. I forgot about this.
For starters I think the build material is low quality. My armrest between the front seats is completely dented. The spring loaded ashtray won't stay closed even though i never use it and dont smoke. When i put my 2 12's in the trunk I've never, ever heard a car rattle so bad. I've had systems in at least 10 cars.. the factory nav deck is hard to use and it wont work sometimes due to some error. It drives like a couch if you get aggressive with it at all. Nice for a cruise or straight line fun though.
Had a collapsed lifter and the valve guides wore out even though i only use synthetic mobil one in it and always change it on time. No spare due to a huge battery in the trunk. Thatll be fun when im on the side of the road. Probably some other stuff, this is just the top of my head.
