I am ready to take some shit, and I get it. I have 100g of test E , and want to do it rite. I have been gathering tons of opinions, and it is getting confusing. I want to keep the process simple as possible. The area I need help with the most is supplies. I am obsessive and want more than anything to get this right. I know I need whatman syringe filters, bb,ba, scale. Could someone please tell me what else I may need that would help. Any tips, I am over thinkin this and just want it to be rite. Thanks

If you're looking to brew bigger batches, ditch the syringe filters. Get a media bottle, bottle top filters, and a hand pump/brake bleeder, or if you have the cash get a electric pump. This setup will make the process easier. Syringe filters can be a pain in the ads.

Going to try a caulking gun next brew. Syringe filters seem to get really really hard to use after 80ml. I have no feeling in my finger tips and I havent brewed in a while.. fucks your shit up.

Be sure to get a 60ml syringe to put in your caulk gun...10ml won't work

use 60ml syringes but when you fill your 60ml with your brew, I only fill 30ml at a time and filter that, then put another 30,an so on-And this is WHY Sir,..You plunger will stick out more and LONGER than your caulk gun encasing , you want the plunger to inset inside the caulk gun casing so you can begin to apply ticks of pressure~CAREFUL Though-Always remember they can blow off the filters, Use caution an Only WHATMAN SYRINGE Filters,No im not offiliated, brewed 2 bottles earlier-WHATMAN Had to Save MY Brew i tried to filter, through Millipore, so make sure and use WHATMAN!!

Syringe filters are good to filter about 100ml but they begin to slow down in filtration rate well before that. I'd suggest a bottle top filter setup if you're doing decent quantities for ease of use

for the bottle top filter how many ml can you filter before you have to replace the filter

Just a tip. Don't cheap out on your filtration. Filter 500ml and call it a batch. Filters are cheap and are the most crucial step in your brewing process. From pip to avoiding abscess and infection, this step should never be forced or short changed including reusing filters for multiple compounds or batches and caulking guns.

Very good point. The filter is your main line of defense against many potential issues

do you think that a machine like this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/DRY-HEAT-STERILIZER-VET-TATTOO-GLASSES-AUTOCLAVE-HANDSOME-DURABLE-SERVICE-/371061693075?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5665001a93

would be good to sterilizer vial

Sure it could work but since it uses dry heat and only goes up to 392deg F you'd need to leave them in for at least two hours I think or more. There are tables on,ine you can find to tell you how long you need for what temp.

Personally I use dry heat from an oven. 500deg for 1-1.5hrs is plenty for depyrogenation.

I usually use watman .22um sterile syringe filters. Picked up a few milipore .22um filters a while back I never used. Anyone use them before?
Ive wanted a vac pump but they are pretty pricey and always sold out on the supplier I go through. Now to think of it, after all the watmans ive burned through I wish I would have nutted up and just invested in a system. At this point I just have a few more compounds to filter then Ill be set on personal for a very long time.

Never used millipore filters. I have a whatman Zapcap bottle top filter setup and whatman syringe filters. Bottle top filters are pretty cheap option to replace the peristaltic pump and filter setup you faked aboutjdfd

What will I need exactly for bottle top? ,or what is it you recommend. I am ordering today and this changes everthing
