Ok,

I've been working out for a while now and can't ignore the gains from taking the juice. I'm totally new to all of this, have gone over the site time and time again and was hoping to get feedback on where I should start for the first 6-8 weeks: What to take, how much a day/week, do I worry about side effects etc etc.

I'm 210lbs (Cut down from 235, 30%ish BF) 18%ish body fat and 5'10. Any info on what to take for my first 6-8 weeks would be great as well as what to take after the cycle is finished. I'm not looking to kill my liver (too badly) or My.Happy.

I'm 20.

I came out of the USMC at like 180lbs...had a huge depression issue, gained a load of weight (hence the 30% body fat) and now it's coming off but my $500 a month in over the counter supps just isn't doing it for me.

Ideal would be 215lbs and 5-7%.

I work out now for around 3-4 hours a day doing 1 body part per workout.

Mon - Chest
Tue - Back
Weds - Bi/Tri (well, ok one day I do 2 muscles)
Thur - Shoulders
Fri - Legs
Sat - Cardio
Sun - Rest

Your workouts are too long and you workout too many times per week. Read the Sticky threads in the training section. IMO, most people should lift 3-4w/wk for at most about 1 1/2 hours each session (though I prefer 45-60 mins).

As to what to take, no one will design a cycle for you. Read through the Stickies in this forum, come up with something and then we will help you tweak it.

$500 a month in supplements? YOu are getting fucking ripped man, what all are you buying...Let us know and we can save you a bunch of $$..I hope you aren't wasting all your money on Muscle Tech crap!

The older guys can correct me if i'm wrong, but i've read that your body only grows and truely recovers on the second day of rest...so at least once every week or so you should have 2 consecutive days off. Also, in my opinion, if you want to shed some pounds, 1 day of cardio per week isn't going to do it. Lose the body fat first, then grow from there...i made the same mistake with my first cycle, i wanted to lean out, but ended up just building muscle under my layers of fat. i definetly looked bigger, but no definition, and still carrying the fat around.
Take a few months, read up on the drug profiles, PCT, etc...and at the same time hit the cardio and diet pretty hard. by the time you're ready to start your first cycle, you'll have shedded some layers and be much happier with your results.

Man there are a lot of opinions about rest. I've never heard this one, needing two days a week. Personally I divide my body into 4 parts and work one per day, cycling through all 4 repeatedly, though usually with a day of rest forcing itself into my life because of work, friends, or whatever.

It may be true the organs need rest... but the muscles each get 3 days of rest (though it's true shoulders and arms get stuck doing some work almost every day, but they are smaller and I think designed for it).

Now I'm curious. I'll have to do a search and see if there is a consensus of opinion about this. My bodybuilding buddy works out every day, but he's on juice a lot.

Workout time....too long?

About the time I spend working out....

We have some guys at the gym who work out for 45mins..every other day. To me, thats next to nothing, yet they look great (althought are somewhat weak).

I don't know what is considered "good" and "very good" .. but it would seem cutting my bodyfat % by 13-16% in 3 months and going from 230-225 down to 210-112 seems ok no?

You think it would have gone faster if I didnt spend 4 hours a day in the gym?
I'm flying by all my buddies in size and what I can put up in weight in the 3 months i've been at it to their 8-17 months they have been seriously working out.

I'm always open to any ideas etc etc

Cardio and such

About my Cardio.... I play 2-4 hours of Raquet ball (no clue how you spell it) a day. Some serious hardcore games. I come out soaking. Ontop of my lifting in the morning hours. It just so happens I spend another full day of just cardio.

I'm 20.
I don't work.
I don't go to school.
I own my own home.
I am able to spend whatever money I need on whatever it is I need to take and or do.

Have all the free time in the world and am trying to dedicate the next year to going all out. (I will dedicate my life obivously to being in shape but I can't keep up the all day working out type deal the rest of my life)
