Newbie Preparing for First Cycle

Hey Guys,

Never used gear before, but have been committed for some time now to do a first cycle since the gains stopped coming a while ago.

I realised researching this that I'm out of my depth so I'm goni take like a good month to get good info and get my body right before going ahead.

I'm 28 and have been training natural for about 10 years now and I fucking love it. Apart from my legs though I've pretty much plataued and want to go to the next level. Below is a recent picture of me.

I'm getting bloods done on Wednesday but I'm fairly familiar with my hormonal profile, as I get them done every six months cos my thyroid is underactive (high thyroxin) but subclinical with good diet and exercise. My testosterone is also lowish as a result, but subclinical unless I'm really living like a slob, and I've seen my prolactin weirdly spike a couple times, which I'm told is related. Other than that, all healthy normal levels, no side effects that I'm aware of.

I think I'm pretty physically prepared but the whole science of it has me fucking baffled. Sorry for how fucking ignorant this is, I should have taken notes, but it's just blagging my head completely.

I wana run Test E 500 for like 12 weeks, I know I need an AI on hand throughout cos I don't want bitchtits, and I hear arimidex is popular because it doesn't block all estrogen, but I'm a bit confused as to what dosage and how often to take it - some places say only use it if you start getting itching, others say take x amount every other day... is it that random?

Also, I really want to use HCG as I understand it makes your balls stay functioning somewhat throughout your cycle, so you're already primed for your PCT, but I hear it's expensive and I have to mix it myself, is it worth it, and is it difficult or dangerous to fuck up?

Finally, I've been looking into PCT, again a lot of advice varies wildly, I know I wait two weeks and then begin taking a cocktail of SERMs, but I've also heard there's a method that some people use for test only cycles called tapering. It seems a lot easier, but is it a legitimate method of coming off a first cycle, or is it shit compared to using SERMs? Also, are SERMs dangerous at all? I've read a lot about the effects of test and various steroids, but very little about the drugs used around them in a cycle.

Sorry for the spam of text, any links or guidance very appreciated, I'm dead serious about doing this, I just wana be dead prepared and not fuck myself up on it out of ignorance.
 
I'll try and answer as many questions as I can man lol. Getting bloods is a good start that way you know where you are starting from. Also get mid cycle bloods and after. Test e 500 will have some pip bc of the solvents they use to get it to hold. You will have pip just bc you have virgin muscle, so if it was me, I would get test e 250 or 300 and just use more oil to get the dose you want.

I use adex also and like it. But everybody is different on there dose, that's where the bloods come in. You could try .5mg every 3 days starting from week 2 until you get mid bloods and see where you estro is and go from there. I don't use HCG so can't help you there

I agree. We always get greedy and want the highest concentration we can find, and after injecting we are so sore it screw up our workouts. It is almost a certainty that pip from 500mg/ml will be an problem.

Im running 300mg test E at 500mg per week broken up i to two shots per week. First shot wasnt bad but second had me limping. Glute is the way I go seems to be the place that hurts the least. I kind of like the pip it remimds me im running gear.
 
I want to congratulate you on getting a nice foundation before you started AAS and your dedication to educating yourself before just just the stick and grin.

AI: some wait for itchy nips before taking any, thoughts are why put a drug in your body if not needed. You are new, so there will be a big learning curve as to how you react. Your fine at the dose stated already, but you can wait and start it if you start to get itchy nips as well. If you feel nothing, then your mid cycle bloods will tell you where you stand. You might want to find the thread on Meso blood work that explains what tests to order and why. Make sure to get the female hormone panel. Keep us posted.

That should be much easier to tolerate. I remember using test 400 when I first started using AAS. If i pined quads, leg days were out. If I pinned shoulders, there would be no shoulder work for several days.
 
Hey guys, thanks for all the responses, I'm trying to get a better handle on this, so thanks for the detailed answers.

With regards to minimising pip, we're saying it might be better to use Test E 250 twice a week rather than Test E 500. I think I'll probably go down that route, I didn't realise a higher concentration could increase the chances of pip. Cheers for that, and .5 adex every 3 days either a couple weeks in or if I start getting the itchy nip, gotcha.
