Could have been better. Could have been worse. The experienced gained is noted more worthy than the prize. Placed 4th in a competition I can say is the biggest in the state..and they said this year was the toughest group. I was aimin for top 3, I actually think I should have placed second. But they made the decisions and I simply stood and flexed. Maybe next year they will like a tighter, smaller waisted me with 20lbs on my frame?

Use what you've learned and spend this next year perfecting yourself. Don't aim for a physique that has great strengths, go for one that has no weaknesses

From the front you definitely won.
From behind there's only one guy who could compete, and that's the guy to the right of you. you have width, but his rhomboid/rear delts popped out a bit more.
I'm stoked to see your progress over this next year though. I know you're hungry for that trophy.

I second that. Judging tends to be rather driven by politics imo.

Thank you.. I was unsure if I deserved first, but I felt second for sure. The head judge got on me pretty bad for not turning hips in pre judging so I believe this is where my placement fell.
