Not your everyday intro...

Hello all!

I have read through countless forums here prior to beginning my first cycle and decided it would be wise to join up not only to contribute reviews but also gain some constructive criticism. I have been active all my life, and the gym has been a constant in my adult years. However, life in the military and after discharge my life as a full time medic causes constant disrupt in diet and sleeping patterns. Early this year I took a good look at myself, 26 years of work and still couldn't relate to the body looking back at me.

What none of you are expecting is this next part...

I'm a trans man, meaning I am transitioning from female to male. Trust me, I have no room for negative personal opinions about this fact- my life, my body, let's be adults without pushing our individual views and spreading hate. I have been transitioning for a little over a year now, on TRT of testosterone cypionate at 60mg/week. Prior to TRT all my years in the gym were as a female, reluctant to make any gains whatsoever, and definitely reluctant to shed body fat effectively. Since TRT I have had some very positive physiological changes, and did more for my body in about 6 months with testosterone than I had in a lifetime without TRT. My diet is extremely clean, and I am very serious about building an entirely new me.

Anxious for change to overcome my body dysphoria, I decided to begin my first steroid cycle after much research, which began earlier this month. It consists of 20mg Dbol per day (which I'm also hoping to reap androgenic effects like facial hair growth from) and 250mg/wk of testosterone cypionate, plus my prescribed 60mg/wk of test cyp so I don't miss my transitional dosage in case of bunk product. I will be finding the appropriate forum to post up a log and get some insight, though I'm sure experience helping a trans man with cycles is a rare occurrence due to lack of experience on the subject. Regardless, I hope to gain some positive feedback and input in these forums.

Welcome! This is an interesting situation...my knee jerk thoughts would be geared toward your mental health. So long as you keep a good head on your shoulders, I think you'll be good to go. I like the conservative approach to your dosages. What kind of goals do you have?

Welcome. Do you happen to participate on reddit SST under a different handle? There is someone there with similar circumstances. If that isn't you, may be good to reach out to in order to share experiences and compound results.

Looking forward to your log bro. Should be quite interesting to watch along. This should be one of the better spots for it. I'm sure you're used to adversity, and you may well find some here, as everywhere else. But for the most part, this forum is a good crew, of supportive, accepting people.

Look forward to seeing you around!

Mental health in check :) I am ridiculously positive and motivated, which I am very thankful for considering my circumstances. My goal is legit muscle growth. I start nursing school this Fall and want to make scrubs look damn good. Haha. I want to be filled out and see the muscular frame I have been missing out on for a lifetime. I went conservative for two reasons, the first being that it is my very first cycle and obviously don't want to overwhelm my system. Second that I am an exception to the rule in that what works for a biological man does not translate to my body likewise. So even my almost year of research still leaves room for error in my case. Most women don't touch testosterone and such high levels, and most men don't use so low. All I can do is trial and error really, but I figured the community discussion would be a positive addition to cycling.

Hey D-Ballin, thank you for the warm welcome. I do not own that handle on reddit, but that is actually the only one I have come across with my situation. I will definitely hit him up and see how he has progressed.

I see a ton of supportive people on the site who really stick to the theme of helping people out. For these people I am thankful. Those who wish to take their time hating, it's simply time lost for them- I've definitely been made resilient by my life experiences.

Thanks for stopping by!

I'm betting that the jump from 60mg/wk to 310mg/wk will give you a crazy boost! This is where that positivity and discipline will come in handy, because you don't want to lose your cool, especially at school, and your libido is gonna scream!

I'm hopeful as all hell! I'll keep logging and be sure to share bloodwork mid cycle and potentially before and after pics.

I dont know about the dbol in your situation , its very harsh on women , but your not that anymore . I would stay just with higher test/TRT levels . Amazing what TRT levels did for Chaz Bono . Are you hoping for simular results ? Welcome ~Ogh

on TRT of testosterone cypionate at 60mg/week.
First I would like to state that I have been researching female HRT for some time. I have two women in my life that play with their endocrine system:). I seems that 60mgs is a little low for a transition. My wife has her blood level at 320ng/dl. and it does not bring on any male characteristics at all. It might be because her E2 is at 46. That level keeps her libido high. I think the accurate term is INSANE. Did you get your TT, FT and E2 tested and what changes have you gotten so far and over what time frame? Hope you don't mind me asking, just trying to learn.

@Throwback interesting thread.
