NPP color clear or yellow

Hey, fellas, I apologize if this doesn't technically fit the homebrew category, but I figured if anyone knows, it will be guys from here. Ok, so I'm almost done with my last bottle of NPP, I'll be finished this weekend, and then I'm just cruising. I was bored today and got together all the empty vials of NPP I had and sat them upside for a while. Then I took a slinpin and sucked out the very last bit from all the empty vials just to see how much I was actually wasting. This was just for shits and giggles. From 13 vials I got .7 ml. (I think I threw out the other 7 empties)

This is where the technicality comes in, I did not brew this NPP, but I figured someone with NPP brewing experience could help me. All vials are from the same source. My good vial, the one I'm using now, the oil is clear. The vial I put the .7 ml of the older NPP in, the oil is yellow. The empty vials were not exposed to heat or sunlight. They sat in a zip lock bag inside the wine fridge I use for all my gear. The NPP that was in the empty vials had a very slight yellowish tint to it but not like the .7ml oil I have now. What would cause this to darken over time? Oxidation? Like I said, this is for shits and giggles.

Could be different carrier oils.

Could be different carrier oils.
As far as I know they are the same carrier oil but I guess it's a possibility considering I'm not 100% certain if the source did or didn't change their base oil. I'm assuming they did not switch it up and both are the same carrier oil.

The NPP that I made was always transparent. But the colors of benzyl benzoate sometimes also vary. I've had transparent and slightly yellow. Maybe the tint comes from it.
