Stump said:Krom, I have had acne on my back & shoulders since puberty. In high school it would really get bad during football season. It has not been that bad as an adult ( I am 34 now ). I am on my 3rd month of TRT & my back & shoulders have never been worse. I usually have 1 or 2 on my back at all times but it is covered now. I am about to see my Doc about accutane. There are a few things that you can do to go along with your medication. These all come from AAS veterans & I have tried them also, they all work to some degree but everyone is different. Dawn dish washing soap in the shower instead of your regular soap. It worked pretty good for me but I can't do it very often because it dries out my skin so bad that I itch uncontrollably sometimes. Goldbond medicated powder. I have just recently started this & it helps. Speed Stick deordorant. Sounds strange right? I have not tried it yet but a lot of people swear by it. Make sure it is clear & a stick not spray, and you need deodorant not anti-persperant. B-5 in heavy doses, 6 to 10 grams a day until it gets better than lower to 2 to 5 a day. If you can go to the tanning salon once a week or take your shirt off when doing yard work this helps me a good bit. Hopefully some of these in combination with your antibiotics will do some good. Good luck & keep us posted on how it goes.
