"I think there is no doubt that when any foreign government tries to impact the integrity of our elections that we need to take action and we will at a time and place of our own choosing," Obama told National Public Radio.

Now, not that I even believe this crap, but my question is, if according to Obama retaliation is deserved then what does Obama deserve for trying to sway the Israeli election?

It looks like there is bipartisan support to investigate Russian hacking. That isn't going to impact a Trump presidency. The folks that like him will support him no mater what comes out of any investigation, and people that hate him will probably not hate him anymore than they already do. We have him for 4 years.

Not bipartisan support because it's believed. Moreso because they want to know why the CIA is playing these shenanigans.

The California Republican, in a letter sent to Clapper on Monday, said he wanted clarification about why the CIA is now saying that Russian hacks of political campaign committees earlier this year appeared to be aimed at helping President-elect Donald Trump and hurting Democrat Hillary Clinton. Nunes pointed to testimony from Clapper in a public hearing in November that the Intelligence Community lacked the evidence to draw such a conclusion.

"It is unacceptable that the Intelligence Community directors would not fulfill the House Intelligence Committee’s request to be briefed tomorrow on the cyber-attacks that occurred during the presidential campaign," Nunes said in a statement released Wednesday night. "The legislative branch is constitutionally vested with oversight responsibility of executive branch agencies, which are obligated to comply with our requests."

Anyone who thinks any lame duck president can accomplish anything in his last month or two of office needs to sober up.

This is just more Obama/Democrat nonsense - begone already, you disaster of a president!

Funny actually, I can see Obama chumming it up (albeit an idiot he seems a likeable guy when he wants to be, ref Seinfeld and his coffee/car show) with the elitist pinkoes at NPR, talking big about some imaginary action he'll take.

Obama is and has been a joke, he can only back down, kneel down, kiss ass, bend over, and withdraw - internationally. Then he comes back home and bullies the nation with another executive order, or 10.

Wow, liberal drone - pull your head out of the CNNMNSBCBSHuffPoPolitico et al rat hole.

If anyone is a "friend" of Putin, it'd be Hillary, what with her nuclear deal with him after her little foundation got millions.

Here's from that right-wing extremist rag New York Times on the topic of the Clintons and getting payouts from Russia:
http://www.nytimes.com/2015/04/24/u...ssed-for-control-of-uranium-company.html?_r=0

"As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well.

And shortly after the Russians announced their intention to acquire a majority stake in Uranium One, Mr. Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock.

The deal was strategically important to Mr. Putin, who shortly after the Americans gave their blessing sat down for a staged interview with Rosatom’s chief executive, Sergei Kiriyenko. “Few could have imagined in the past that we would own 20 percent of U.S. reserves,” Mr. Kiriyenko told Mr. Putin."

There is so much more in the NYT article, nauseating really.

So, go suck on that nuke!

So how, after leaving the white house flat broke and only making a few hundred thousand dollars a year, are the Clinton's worth almost a billion dollars in just 7 years?

La la la la la la la la - say liberals and the media - don't point out such truths - how rude of you! ;-)

Although I think their "personal" (and what constitutes 'personal' to the Clinton gang is nebulous) net worth is more like a $100MM or so. Still, an absurd amount of wealth gathered in a mere couple of years, as you point out. At least almost impossible to do honestly - it's not like they've invented the next Facebook, Twitter or found the cure for cancer.

Who knows how many foundations they have and how much money they have grafted together? Media certainly won't examine this elephant in the room.

I have been thinking about this, we should be able to discuss this catastrophe of a Trump presidency without insulting each other. We get nowhere and just piss each other off. I know I have been an outspoken opponent of that orange haired douchebag, and I have insulted some members, but I will try. We have more in common than we have differences. :)

It can't be a disaster until it starts right? We already know Obama was a disaster so try focusing on that one for once. I know, I know, he's such a cool guy and all.

I'm no hillary drone, nor a trump fan.
And from what I can see we are way better off now than we were 8 years ago.
Obama had some shortcomings, and added way too much to the debt..... but could he have saved our economy from the recession that Bush put us in w/o going deeper in debt?

There are a few trump cab picks that look good to me, but I cringe at the thought of having climate change deniers and creationists in power.

And why the fuck is trump tweeting hater bullshit about some cheesy magazine that gave a bad review on his restaurant.
separate church from state, and trump business from state.

It will be an interesting four years for sure, and I look forward to getting a moderate candidate from either party in there at the end of this.

What did bush do to cause the recession? How was the recession caused?

Every president since Reagan is responsible for the 2008 meltdown. Bill Clinton signed the bill that removed protections of Glass-Steagall. Lack of oversight was responsible for the great recession. I don't think that it is over yet. The fed has been pumping free money into the economy for 8 years now. We have been on life support so to speak. Lets see what happens when interests rate go up.

You can't steal something you rightfully won by the rules in place.
Just saying GR if Trump had won the popular vote and lost the electoral vote there would be riots in the street. If Trump lost the election he may have not ever conceded. That guy has an ego that will not admit loss under any condition right or wrong. He cares nothing for this country. With him it's all about number one.

If Trump lost the electoral college but won the popular vote would you admit he lost the election?

It was a disaster the moment that little Hitler stole the election when he lost by 2.8 million votes.

Yeah, because Cali, Oregon, Washington, NY, and New England should decide the fate of the other 40ish states. Go ahead and get rid of the electoral college then. Until then the rules apply and he won fair and square.
