Obese Woman

Hi,

I have a woman who is obese and on Wegovy. She claims to be throwing up at 2.0. Is this the best course of action ya'll have used? Somebody recommended Anavar but I'm not wise to what it does for women.

Cannot stress sleep enough. For all things holy and unholy it will provide benefits. But if possible try switching over to tirzepatide aka (Mounjaro/Zepbound). It is a dual peptide for the GLP-1 and GIP receptor. Despite anyones personal claims most research can’t actually give us exactly what GIP is for or what it’s full purpose is but we do know when combine it provides an anti nausea affect amongst other effects. Anavar is definitely not the next move. But who am I to make that decision.

<Throws rocks at Wegovy>. Semaglutide/Wegovy are not as effective for weight loss. Mounjaro/Zepbound/Tirzepetide work better. Literally the 5 mg in the Zepbound drug trial (low dose) performed as well as the high dose of Wegovy. So you don’t have to take so much/climb doses to get the same effect and have a better shot at taking a lower dose and still be effective if needed. I personally have been on both (the actual prescriptions) and found GI side effects are lower with Mounjaro (same drug as Zepbound). Good luck finding it-the shortage is brutal.

But really, she is having adverse reactions. At a minimum she should reduce her dose. She really should seek professional guidance.

Also sleep. Diet and training go to shit real fast if you can't sleep well.

Exactly. It's almost impossible to lose weight if you have sleep apnea or fragmented sleep, as your cortisol is always elevated and your GH secretion , thyroid and other vital factors are sub-opimal for decent metabolism and hormonal balance.
I am sucessfully treating my apnea for 3+ years now and the difference with mood, energy, cognition is night and day ( No pun intended )
