OEP LABS Domestic

I've been using 30g 1/2 (0.5)" for pretty much everything. For quads, I've always done upper outter quad, pretty much where your fingertips would naturally rest when standing relaxed. It's about 2/3rds of the way up between the knee and hip.
Same but with a 29. Haven’t really injected anywhere else other than quads the past 2 years. Will throw in some occasional delts with the same size when running a blast if I need a little movement of sites.

This bad boys are sharp as hell, no scar tissue, slide in easily without a feel and never bend. Throw them on a 1ml syringe and it’s the only way I’ll ride now.

I've always been scared of Amazon needles, but if you find a brand that's good and sharp, why not.

1ml is the only way for me now as well. I'd rather do 2 or 3 injections with a 30g thin wall attached to a 1ml syringe vs a thicker needle and a 3ml syringe. So much less pressure needed. I just do daily injections, and that way 1ml usually covers everything I need, unless I'm using lower concentration gear.

I’ve found a few pins on Amazon I was actually happy with. Then they disappeared and I had to find new brands…. Scary names like “GodCreat” or “Rospital”. BH seems ok so far, but I’m still looking for an upgrade.

Have u considered swapping out syringes?
1 goes in with the needle with 1ml. Then u swap the syringe with the needle in the body to a new filled syringe. Luer slip makes it a lot easier vs LL. I'm planning to try it lol

I had to read that twice. I know this wasn’t addressed to me but I’ve thought of trying that but chickened out.

The thought of having an open needle in my body between barrels swaps makes me think about infections…. But honestly pinning 3 separate times could be riskier.

Interesting... I'm going to try this tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes

You can get needles like this..where you can use as many syringes as you want. I wont use it for oil tho, the tubing isn't compatible lol. But I'm already doing 2 shots a day now for carnitine + glut and was trying to reduce pokes.

That's actually what I do for my glut injections, surprised someone else does it.
Just have to be careful not to tighten the needle to hard, to be able to easily remove it.

Keep in mind that the deeper you go, the more chance of hitting the (peroneal?) nerve that runs down your leg. I'd rather go 1/2" vs 1", you're lean enough and wouldn't have to worry at all. Worst case, some of it could flow out a little and become a small subcutaneous bolus, but that's not happening unless you mess it up. Just my opinion, your comfort is your own, just wanted to give another perspective.
You actually pointed smth I missed out. God this forum reminds me how little experience I have.

Regardless of how much research I can presumably do, experience + knowledge is even as important.

I have an insulin syringe that’s 1/2 inch 30g i think, I can try that out as well. Hopefully I could easily tell if I hit IM

Sheit, that was my fear to begin with. Trying to minimize scar tissue/irritation when going daily IM injections of Gluta.

Should I just go safe with a 27g 1inch?

Also if you don’t mind me asking (Ik I repeated this, apologies), since you’re a quad enthusiast, do you rotate between upper and side quads for injection or have a preference?
Why 1inch lol go 1/2inch unless you got fat quad xD

This. Thinner needles cause less scar tissue, but shorter needles also help cause less. You're "damaging" twice as much muscle, unnecessarily, when using a 1" vs 1/2". Again, you're lean enough to use the 1/2's no problem. You could use 5/16's in my opinion. I've used 5/16's for low volume IM in my quads and delts with no issues.
