It must be to do with the osmolarity of the solution (saltiness/concentration) as the pip went away entirely when diluted to 600mg/10ml. So maybe they use some kind of buffer that’s very salty to adjust pH compared to just using naoh. Just a guess though.

I know you like to shop like it's Costco, so I thought I'd drop a link for decent pricing on a case of 30ga Nipro needles. No license needed, unlike a few other suppliers. After shipping it was like $8.75/100 which seems like a good price from what I've seen.

I've used a bunch of your posts and links to get me set up so hopefully this one is useful to you and anyone else.

Be aware, these are not Nipro's thin wall needles, but their regular wall thickness needles. The thin walls are what I personally prefer because you get the flow rate of a needle that's a couple gauges thicker, without the outside diameter of that thicker needle. Essentially, a 27g thin wall will flow more like a 25g, but with the comfort and reduced scar tissue buildup of the 27g. Not saying the linked needles are bad in any way, Nipro has proven to be a quality needle in my experience, but it is something to note.

I got some 25 gauge thin wall nipro and I couldn't figure out why I had orange hubs when before the 25 gauge nipro were blue hub, thin wall for the win (the orange are thin wall)

I didn't realize the difference initially either, but figured it out eventually. The thin wall hubs are different colors than the standard ones, but the easiest way for me to sort them when going through my stuff is that the thin wall will have "TW" on the packaging. I use their 22's to draw, and the 27's and 30's for injects. 27g 1.25" is perfect for ventrogluteal, 30g 1/2" for everywhere else.

Man, I'm glad you pointed that out. I must have mixed them up with another site because I was sure they were unit I went back and looked. Again, much appreciated!

I typically try to leave about 1/2 out, so it's only a 3/4" depth shot. Pretty sure they offer their 27g thin wall in 3/4" length, I'll probably pick some up eventually. I used to use thicker, longer needles for everything, so getting used to the thinner, shorter length needles was an adjustment for me. I bought a ton of the 27g 1.25's initially, probably about 1500 of them, so it's difficult to justify more 27's, especially now since I fell in love with the 30's. I do typically stay lean enough year round to not need the extra length, but the extra length doesn't have to go in...

i just ordered a bunch of the Gucci brand (BD) 27's for MCT. Luckily my wife does my delts and glutes so she'll have a biomechanical / ergonomic advantage compared to me twisting my hips and using my non-dextrous hand to hit my glutes. I also got some of the 30's for my L-Car pins. Had been using 25's for oil with no issues but if I can get away with smaller i'm down.

27g thin wall, if you've never used them, might be worth a try. The 27g thin wall will flow oil similarly to a normal 25g.
