OEP LABS Domestic

Same here, haha. Very proud of my brisket and rib skills. I do admit to using a wood pellet smoker. Haha.
Given my inability to properly tend to the smoker, I'm an advocate of a pellet smoker. The quality of meat I can smoke on there far exceeds anything I accomplished with a conventional smoker.

Plus, smoking a brisket for 20-28 hours on a wood pellet smoker becomes vastly easier and more consistent, and at the end of the day, I want my 100 dollar brisket to be juicy, tender, and taste good. Nobody cares how it was accomplished.

In the last few years I've come to appreciate mechanical watches. So many brands out there to like from under $1k up to...well, crazy money. I like Grand Seiko, IWC, Omega, Glashutte Original, Rolex (even though many hate on them I think they're great), and especially Vacheron Constantin although I don't own one yet.
I started with a Submariner many years ago, but have since fallen in love with Tudor. I daily drive a BB58 on a rubber strap and adore it.

Amen! Although it would be cool to get one of those nifty offset smokers way down the line. But tending to a fire / dirty smoke / temp control sounds like a nightmare.

Yep Tudor is great too! I'll likely own one at some point. Just trying to keep the number of watches to a reasonable number.

It's not that bad. I got an inlet fan and temp probes for my BGE and can control it from my phone. I get alerts if the meat or ambient temp goes outside the range I set it to. And a camera to monitor smoke output. Same setup would work on an offset.

I run the same setup on my weber tower smoker. Can hold temp dead nuts for 15+ hours but still get all the benefits of charcoal. The fan upgrade was a game changer. I've always been kind of a charcoal snob over pellets and being able to set the temp and get alerts if it drifts had gotten me a lot more sleep on overnight smokes.

I am partial to a 357 when in bear territory
If you have not already, get a chance to put a few rounds of full house 357 through a Chiappa Rhino (even the 2" is wild). It will change/ruin your perspective on 357 wheel guns. They can be finicky and should not be dry fired, but whooo boy is the recoil something special.

They won’t let me play with firearms any more. I’ve been loving these big bore air guns.

Yall are making it hard to not post some of the toys up. Got a few 2 stamp toys that I'd rather not post but have been fun. Once the fees drop at the first of the year a lot more of my collection are probably getting their stamp.

It's pretty cool to see I have a lot more in common with this community than I realized.
