OEP LABS Domestic

Slightly off topic, but I decided to switch things up this week and try Nipro and Terumo instead of BD needles. Quick take: Nipro is solid, no complaints. Terumo feels a bit smoother and softer than BD in my hands, but they’ve become annoyingly hard to find lately. BD also keeps getting more expensive, so at this point Nipro feels like the best price to quality balance.

For anyone looking, everything’s still easy to find on MedVet and prices there seem to be about as reasonable as it gets right now.
I had a dud Nipro the other day... It didn't want to break the skin and I just couldn't help myself. Wanted to see what would happen. Finally there was a crunch and it went it a little but not enough so I pushed it until there was another sickening crunch. All good after that

I had that happen once. Usually, they go in with virtually no resistance. When I pushed against my leg and it didn’t immediately penetrate, I said “nope” and got a new needle. Has only happened once.

ive went through quite a bit of this thread and I'm looking for independent janoshik labs of people testing OEP's gear.am I in the wrong thread? could someone direct me to where to find them?

Easy Touch has an entire line of thin wall luer lock needles that have been fantastic. Right now they're my favorite. I was a huge fan of Terumo back in the day, they were a bit better than BD and a lot better than Exel, in my opinion

Now if we could just get some 1.5cc or 2cc narrow syringes
2cc narrow syringes…
