Think so? Idk if I see it that way...
He had 265yds and 45 on the ground, he was our leading rusher after Stewart got hurt on the first drive and had to come out. Lost his best target that night when Philly failed concussion protocol. Denver's secondary was keeping guys covered up and Ware+Miller are so fast that Cam didn't get many looks because Remmers was getting too aggressive trying to block Miller and kept getting outmaneuvered. I think Cam did pretty damn well considering he was literally the only offensive force for the majority of the game. I wish he would have used his legs more but what are you gonna do, I think Shula and Remmers deserve more of the "blame" than Cam. They all did the best they could in the moment, there were some horrible calls at critical moments for sure that took the wind right out of our sails.

I appreciate actually having a conversation regarding the game. Yes your tackles suck, yes I know your wrs are below average.

Where was g Olsen?

The reason the tackles couldn't do anything is because the Denver d shut down the run game and they lead the game the entire time.

How many games did Carolina have to come from behind... Seattle (shorty secondary at the time) and the saints right?

I know my hawks and ur Panthers made it a goal to emulate our formula. So I know the symptoms when it goes wrong.

It's all about the run game. Even Brady... The best passer in the game imo couldn't pull it off vs that defense.

He couldn't do it Vs the hawks either till the injuries

Yeah we lost vs car. Doesnt change that the mvp isnt a top 15 an talent, doesn't make him grow up and act like an adult.

Where the hawks lost a sb in the worst way possible... How did russell handle it?? O yeah like a professional.
I don't give two flying fucks if you or anyone else wants to analyze Cam's behavior. Dude preforms on the field and stays out of trouble, contributes a wealth to the community, and does so many things for the fans especially the children.

I personally think Wilson is a talented QB, not a very captivating individual but good football player. Panthers/Seahawks rivalry will be the modern biggest rivalry to watch into 2020, with Cam/Wilson being the face of the new NFL generation. Unfortunately for you though my friend, Panthers future looks a lot brighter than the current state of Seattle.

Papers tigers?
Out gaining the Broncos 315-194 and having 21 first downs compared to Denver's 11 in SB50 despite injuries, 17-2 season....

get used to black+blue my friend, this is the start of a trend...it will be easier to swallow next time ;)

Please read the article. I agree this rivalry will be great.

But again I saw an inability for your offense to finish. Stats don't matter if you don't score enough points to win.

It's all about the run game.
Stewart has a bad ankle, this is well established knowledge...since his days @ Oregon. You watch that play first drive?? looked akward, went out right away. Tolbert is solid but he's a wrecking ball, he doesn't have the athleticism or wind to carry the game like Stewart can. Stewart, Tolbert, Cam make the triple pronged attacked. Cam can't do it all alone, when JStew is limping and Tolbert is laying blocks...he gets the occasional big run but that's not his role.

Stewart shattered Seattle's history of stopping the run...I cant remember exactly but he came close to 100 that game with 2TDs. He's a premier running back check his stats from this year, he's just injury prone with that bad ankle from college.

"MVP isnt a top 15?"
I'm not even sure what you are getting at but if you are somehow unconvinced that Newton is going to have a long, accomplished future in the NFL than you are simply lying to yourself bc you take some kind of personal issue with the kid.

The stats. He doesn't throw above 60% completion. Until he steps his game up He is a running game manager.

As I said a elite athlete but not an elite quarterback.

Who the fuck did he throw to besides Steve Smith???
Why do you think when we released Smith to free up salary all of a sudden our TE gained national attention??? Why do you think we took Benjamin so high??

Completion rate is at least 50% on the receiver.
Lol...it's interesting to me you think Cam can't throw the ball, guess you weren't following Auburn, or Cam's rookie year.

In his NFL debut game on September 11, 2011, Newton was 24–37 passing for 422 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception, in a 28–21 road loss to theArizona Cardinals. With a quarterback rating of 110.4, he also rushed for a touchdown, and became the first rookie to throw for 400+ yards in his first career game. His 422 passing yards brokePeyton Manning's rookie record for most passing yards on opening day.[64]

Here's the facts.

Cam beat russell Wilson in touchdowns.
Stat #1: Russell Wilson is the highest rated passer in the league with a rating of 110.0. Cam sits at #9 with a rating of 96.6
Stat #2: Russell Wilson currently averages 8.57 yards per pass attempt (#3 overall). Cam, sitting at #6, averages nearly a full yard less at 7.75 YPA.

Stat #3: Among qualified quarterbacks, Russell Wilson has the 8th lowest interception rate at 1.82%. Cam sits at #21, with an interception rate of 2.53%.
Stat #4: According to Football Outsiders, Russell Wilson is their 5thranked QB in DYAR. Cam Newton sits at #16.

"stats mean nothing unless you win"...

here's the stats you fucking moron. Carolina over Seattle at home and on the road, 17-2.

Not trying to incite you just like talking ball.

The Panthers had a great season that ended in the worst possible way. As a hawks fan I know and understand how hurt inside u are.

But if you want to parade wins losses around as if it's all that matters. you might need to look at the number 1 all time winning % quarterback.

Yes the hawks "got, got" but one season doesn't cement the legacy.

I'm more concerned about playing in Denver and LA next season than what the Seahawks fans think of Cam Newton.

....for the record, you are from/reside in the state of Washington right?

Yes sir.

For both our teams I'm excited to see what happens playing a harder strength of schedule for you, and easier for us. Personally we love competing and as iron sharpens iron. But need the rest of the of West to step it up.

Winning your division comes with drawbacks...

What do u think you guys will target round 1?

Lb tackle 4th receiver all seem needs for ya.

Hawks need interior pass rush and offensive linemen.
