That would make too much sense. Lol ... It's kinda like retaining/resigning the leagues leading rusher when you had the chance.
I'm a Cowboys fan, but JJ's decisions are often questionable. But hell, if it were my money id spend it however the hell I liked also.

Zeke may help stretch Romo's career a little by running the ball and taking the hits, making it harder for opposing defenses to simply blitz and respect the run. But Romo still likes to hold on to that ball a little too long. Hate to say it, but I doubt he'll make a full season.

This may be his last season. 2017 will definitely be if he actually makes it. Inlike Romo, most under-appreciated QB in football. Plus he was a Parcells guy.

They were actually making a deal for the Bills 1st rounder. But Buffalo wanted next years Cowboys pick and they said no.

Cowboys are weird to me. As a GIANT fan, I hated Aikman and Emmit in the 90s. But now I respect them. I never actually hated Romo. But Eagles? I won't eat Philadlphia Creem Cheese because it says Philly on it.

Being a Giants fan, you're right ... You have no reason to hate Romo. As Cdnguy said, the clutch or those December games is where legends are made. Romo has consistently folded every year down the stretch.
