That was bad. I think if he was a no name player he wouldve been thrown out quick.
And the NFL already said he shouldve been thrown out and the refs were wrong but he still probably wont get suspended.

Josh Norman ain't no saint either. Pre game came on the field with a baseball bat. Making threats & sexual slurs towards Odell jr.... So it does explain why Odell was playing dirty, he was mad. Doesn't condone it, but both are in the wrong & both need to start acting like pros & not street thugs.
I dont know. The norman stuff is just hearsay. Not saying he didnt do it, just that no one can prove it. We saw what odell did.
And Carolina has brought that bat out before.

Of course he ain't no saint. But this would be my argument and I'm attempting to remove all bias from the situation just bc J.No is my homeboy
.....-First of all it sells, this is entertainment, and it's fucking great to watch within the confines of the sport of football.
-I would argue defensive dominance is far more mental than the trashtalk from the other side of the ball. D runs that mouth and gets in your head, they are doing their job, upsetting your game. When your job is to put points on the board, all the trashtalking and intimidation techniques don't mean a damn thing if you can't put points on the board. Beckham got one at the end, but to go from what? 5-6 consecutive games with over 100 yards to not making a single reception in the entire first half??? Sounds like Norman's stratedgy worked to me?
-Although it got pretty chippy out there with the facemask grabbing and swinging...the real story here is the late targeting on Norman helmet to helmet with his head down. Norman was making a play on the ball, there is NO acceptable excuse to target him maliciously like that. That was a clear attempt at injury imo. That's the line, that's where the suspension falls, and everything else got out of hand but still nothing more than a potential ejection(s). The hit=suspension period.
One thing is for sure, seeing how Beckham reacted cemented the fact that other teams+players will continue to employ this technique on him. That performance will haunt him for awhile...he's the new T.O.

Well said...that head hit was brutal. The refs should be fired for letting it go on. And both teams coaches should have stepped up and squashed the beef.

As far as the shit-talkin, egocentric, dick swingin'...that shit is pretty much just ingrained in the QC culture man. Just as much or MORE SO than any other major metro area I've ever been in, bar none, the don't call it the Hornet's nest for nothin. Look at Smith, look at Peppers and that was back when we were losing terrible, we've got a reputation for that style of play. Charlotte exploded about 10 years ago, it has a tremendous growth rate and it has had the "feeling" of a city undergoing some growing pains for awhile now. The city fuckin loves these dudes, the town needs a winner, and you can be certain of one thing...we aint letting up anytime soon. When we go into Atlanta next week you can bet there will be plenty of gut checks, both on the field and in the bleachers...
Julio had 88 I think in the Queen City. I'd gladly take any bets that Norman will hold him under that even at home. I have decided it's probably in my best interest to not make the commute to the Georgia Dome. Although Cam put up a record performance, that was the worst showing of our D in a long time. They are goin be riled up and you can expect a big performance out of them in Atlanta. This shit is goin viral in NC right now...
Maybe Squatch and I can have a post holiday Sunday ritual, this would be a rare event where I'm pulling for Green Bay. Go ahead and knock off the cards so we can secure home field...besides we already seen what yall are made of
