Trukker , most of my training is still based on what I learned 30 yrs ago from a former Mr.Alaska who was 5'6' 245 lb ripped ,short , badass black drill sargent who taught me the KISS principle we all know (KeepItSimpleStupid) That man taught me all I needed to get started and I still use his principles to this day. He was right about everything.
Only the basics in the off-season , very little isolation work and not alot of sets or volume but just enough; believe me these little workouts are taxing , its all in how long you take your windbreaks . Aint hard enough ? Then add weight or shorten your breaks , they have the same effect .
"Get in the gym , do your business then get out , its not a place for talking , its a place for work" . I miss ol Sarge , hope hes still around and I will try and find pictures of him.
