Is it okay to use the same syringe more than once, as opposed to using needles over and over again. just wondering, let me know. I am out of syringes and have extra needles. I know it will be less sterile, but probably better than reusing needles. let me know thanks.

I dont see why you dont order more... they are dirt cheap... if you absolutley must its probobly ok, unless you draw blood into the syringe (then disgard)... but only if you absolutley must... You might be able to just order syringes separate...

Don't reuse needles. I wouldn't reuse the syringe either, but of the two the syringe would be easier to clean and sterilize untill you get more. order from getpinz and you'll have them in 2 days...........11

I guess I'm going against the grain in this thread, but I've been on for about 12 weeks now and have probably used 5 syringes total injecting ED and EOD. I change the needles everytime and have had no infections.

Better yet, order from gearboxinc.com. You can order needles and syringes separately, or as one unit. I prefer to order 5ml syringes, 23G 1.5" needles, and 22G 1" needles all separately. Since I inject 3ml per injection, I need the 5ml syringes so that there will be enough space in the syringe for an air pocket in the end to push all the gear out, and also for enough room to aspirate. The 22G needles are for drawing the gear out of the bottle, and the 23G needles for injecting. My recommendation is to get the Terumo syringes and needles. I think these are superior to the BD ones. I have used both. When I first started doing injections, I used BD because that was what they carried at the local CVS, but then I ordered the Terumo ones from gearboxinc, and since then, I will never use the BD again. The difference is night and day. I had many problems with the BD syringes and needles not being able to get the needles securely tightened to the syringes (they would "strip out", so to speak), and also felt that the plunger in the BD syringes would drag a bit while injecting. I have had none of these problems with the Terumo hardware. Never again will I use BD hardware. Just my .02

And as for your original question, I would only reuse syringes if they are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. I would only do this in a pinch, such as your case where you have run out of hardware and don't want to miss an injection. But since they are cheap enough to buy in bulk, order a couple cycles worth, and replenish your stock when you finish a cycle, and you will never run out. That way if you decide to turn a 10 week cycle into a 16 week cycle, for example, you are covered, and have plenty of time between cycles to replenish your stock.

hello

guys if you dont draw blood into the case
its as good as new, if you use the same gear
like prop, i use a prop, syringe over and over again, but i change
the needle for sure, never had a infection

Like a few of the bros above said.........
Reuse only if you have to. It's not worth taking a chance.

Absolutely agree...there is NO problem from using the same syringe over and over. Don't worry about it.

I agree with Pauly Walnuts. I use the same syringe for about a month before changing it out. Never any infections.

I wouldn't reuse. It wouldn't be worth the risk. I guess I'm lucky I just run to Walmart when I get low. Sometimes they ask what I'm using the pins for. I am a smart ass and tell them it is for Intravenus drug use. I laugh & they just give me a go to hell look and slap them on the counter. It is legal to buy pins in my state. Just curious how many states require a prescription to buy.
