Here is the scenario guys:

I'm 39, 5'8" and weigh 215. I look good at about 195, but hurt my elbow a year ago and let my good habits go to shit. In addition, I left a long term relationship and was working for a total cocksucker who ripped me off if $10k in commissions. Now im turning shit around, got a new job im starting and want to get back to my once glorious state and beyond. I am still lean all over, but have developed a stubborn gut from increased beer consumption during this fuck it period. My test levels are also on the low side of average.
I've been back in the gym hard for a month and have cleaned up my diet for the same period of time. My usage history consists of everything but gh, and eq and tren is my favorite stack. I haven't done anything in over a year, but came across a deal I couldn't pass on (2 - 20 ml bottles of test e for $75 each).
Anyway, down to the question. How would you cycle this? I feel at my age just a 250 mg shot a week with a low calorie, low carb diet would make a huge difference. However, I do want to put some lean mass on the old wheels and back. I've never used strictly test for a cutting cycle and just looking for some thoughts. (I do plan on hitting eq and tren once I get this stomach off).

Heres my advice...if you're starting your life over AND have not been in the gym for awhile (minus the month)

Start your anabolics over.

Run a 1-16 test cycle at 400-600mg split up twice a week. And do a PCT, or TRT and then do a higher cycle...you said you've done tren? So do tren next cycle when you're really on top of shit, and have been for awhile.
 
Face it, you are old now and me too. Lol We dont have much time left so we cant dick around. Its gonna take several wks to feel the test and if its not enough then your just gonna have to add more...more time wasted. Why not double it and get it right from the get go ?

I sometimes run 100mg prop eod by itself and if its good then I see results. I like to stay lean now and always enjoy the feeling of test. Im 5.8 around 185 lb. and run test anywhere from 300mg per wk to 600mg.
 
Thanks, box and hammer! I was thinking about 500 mg per week. I also have plenty of clen, t3, and an open script for adipex (sp?). I'm not too big on the t3. It is leftover from when the idea sounded good.. It worries me a little. I was thinking of going 2 weeks clen, two weeks ECA for 12 weeks while on the test.
 
Ok one month isn't going to do much brother. Stick it out a little while longer til you get the gut down to where you want it. Then run that test at 500mg/wk for 12 weeks. Have an AI and pct all before you start it. You don't want to waste the test E now when you can get rid of the gut naturally. And your not old brother. I'm coming up on 38 and I'm a young pup compared to several guys here. You still have plenty of time to run gear so bf patient and focus on your diet and workout for now.

T3 is helpful, but honestly, any "fat burner" only really helps if you're stuck. If you can keep losing weight without fat burners, go for it.

Me on the other hand. I use fat burners at any body fat...why? because why do something over the span of 16 weeks, vs 8 weeks....you know?

I know it's tempting when you have it on hand. But do you have an AI to run with it or to keep on hand. Also do you have any nolvadex and or clomid? If your going to run it I understand completely but don't do anything until you have everything you need brother. Your little lady might not be to fond of your gut but I would be willing to bet she would be less fond of your boobs.
And 250mgs a week. What is that? You trying for TRT? Forget that and run it at 500/wk for 12 weeks if your going to run it. Give her something to be wet about. Of course your gut is still going to be your diet my man. So stick to a strict diet and work you ass off in the gym and you give her some results she and you will like.

Yeah, I have a group that calls me that!
I'm not doing the t3...it scares me with the possible long term sides). I'm thinking a low dose clen stack (rotated with the eca) with test e. I thought about going with test p, but that's too many injections for too short a period. I'm going to keep my progress updated. It may be a fail, and it may be a success.

Lets face it, everyone on this site is a lab rat for what the FDA won't let men do, but the girls get to do without question.

You do realize the hcg diet is more about the 500 calories right? If your just wanting to get cut up then you don't need test brother. You just need to get the diet down and hit the cardio and weights hard. You can run the test later brother.
 
First off, I got five years on ya at 43. I have same issue with a beer gut that won't go away. I got tired of fighting with it and started my bulk cycle. I figured I will cut in spring. Right now I want to stack on muscle and strength. I have a pretty clean diet going, my metabolism seems really up on this cycle, muscle is building, but this damn beer gut just won't change. Guess what I'm trying to say here is, if you start your cycle with a gut you will probably keep in through the cycle unless you cut your diet back to the point you're not using the test to build mass.
 
I'm doing both, boiler. I'm just talking theory...but on a much grander scale. Bumping up from ones natural test level (the hcg part) and keeping on a low calorie diet (although 2000 calorie isn't low for a mortal, it would be for 30 minutes of cardio and an intensive weight regime). Hopefully, boiler, you can see in theory what I'm trying to do. I appreciate your feedback, and u am by no means trying to be argumentative. I guess to put it in another way, I'm trying to put my body in a hormonal state(or above) of an 18 year old, and have the diet of a gladiator.

I appreciate everyone's advice and I guess you hit the nail on the head. I guess my question now comes to this. On 500mg of week on a daily intake of x number of calories per day, do you think a test cycle could achieve my results to get set up for a good eq/tren/low test cycle? And what would you say my caloric intake should be...assuming 200 grams of protein a day (800 calories of protein). I'm thinking 2000 maximum a day. Thoughts?
 
I would think if you keep cals low you will get rid of the fat. My thing was I don't want to lower my calories to that degree. I am more interested in building strength then loosing gut.
 
I want my test cycle to be high enough to preserve my muscle while my body fat is reduced. I have 18" arms now and German genes to help my legs and back (anyone who has German in them knows what that's about!).

I understand that! My body is at the point where I'm not too concerned about gaining strength. It is where I want it. I just want to be back at the point where women look at me like men look at a chick with new tits. Yeah...it's a little degrading...but I like it!
 
i have twenty five years on you , dont expect aas to do everything for you.
it doesnt take that long to cut if you quit the beer and do lots of cardio.
in no time at all that little 28 year old will have a nice flat spot to lay her head..
 
The beer is down to Saturday and sometimes Friday nights (I do like my ale!) and I have seen improvements since removing it from three to four nights. I just like that aggressiveness in the gym, the workplace, and the sack that I get when I'm on a cycle.
I do think it is unfair that if I were a woman, I'd have no problem receiving HRT. Hell, if I was a tranny I'd have better access to hormones. Maybe I should tuck and pull a Silence of the lambs...."I'd fuck me."
 
Dunno what Dr's are like in your area, but here trt isn't a problem if you have a decent Dr and have low natural test.
I should add that when my doc shared my test numbers after blood work, I went and researched what 'normal' numbers should be. When I talked to her again and explained that by my research my numbers are low, she said ok and asked if I wanted to treat it. But by then I had started a cycle lol. After my cycle I plan to go back and consider trt.
