Old man fatigue

For me, everything was fine until I turned 60 ( now 62)... I just try to stay as active as possible...keep doing as much cardio as you can handle...get off AAS for awhile...when on do only trt dosage...try to eliminate stress...sleep as much as possible..

sleep, low stress, stay healthy(cardio, metabolic, lipid health), meditation, exercise, get enough micro and macronutrients.

Dont use drugs and supplements as a crutch.

I think it comes down the poor sleep, it seems the older we get the worse sleep we have. I haven't dreamed in more than 15 years(I'm almost 50), so I know I'm not getting deep sleep. I don't use any stimulants or caffeine and stop eating about 4hrs before I go to bed.

I've tried a sleep apnea machine as I have a couple and it didn't solve the problem.

For me eating a clean diet, fasting actually seems to improve my energy levels, a 24hr fast will actually give me more energy. High intensity cardio.

I still think sleep is the key, if you just get a solid hour of REM it would probably make a huge difference. I think I read somewhere that there is a linear decline in sleep quality starting in early adulthood and it really hits the shitter as you approach 65. I basically wake up every 2 hours all night long and that can make me feel like a zombie the next day.

X you are so right...I've never been a good sleeper but at about age 50 I started getting 3-4 hours of crappy sleep a night....after about 2-3 weeks of this I will get 6 hours for one night then go right back to 3-4 hours...it really sucks...
