Olde Tyme Meathead Checking In

Greetings...

First off, I'd like to say that I've lurked here for quite some time, and in my usual fashion, waited to create an account because I wanted to get a feel for the place. It's an honor to be able to join the community, an honor which I have not yet earned, but I hope to in the future.

I'm a old meathead who was heavy into the metal years and years ago, in the days of the caveman, who moved away from the lifestyle because of demands on my time from family, work and such, and have felt a sense of nostalgia towards what I left behind.

Times have changed, and while I haven't kept up, nor do I really expect to gain back the form that I lost, I am certainly in awe of the many advances in training, chem, etc., but more especially, many of the outstanding individuals here.

I'm not here because I want to become what I once was, but because I was diagnosed with the dreaded "Low-T". Not the Low-T that pasty-white coach potatos get from wedging their fat asses between couch cushions for years at a time, but unfortunately, the kind that comes from a genetic predisposition combined with age. I didn't see a commercial on TV, and decide that I could suddenly bulk up to epic proportions and wield a mighty golden penis, but instead, noticed many changes occur over time that said to me, "You need to get checked out".

I was checked out, and was prescribed Test Cyp, in the usual haphazard fashion, by the all-too-common MD/Uro/Endo doctors who really know very little, or care very little, about true results. Thus, I started lurking here and elsewhere, looking and learning, and happily, finding more knowledge here than I ever expected to find- a credit to the veterans and others who call MESO their home.

While I won't be looking towards having the body of a god, I am looking to find what I need- advice, knowledge, and eventually an honest, reliable, and honorable source or two for such things that my doctors don't feel comfortable prescribing, be it something like HCG, or what I'm already prescribed, but in a regimen that suits me and not some old, dusty, medical journal on the doctor's shelf somewhere.

Simply put, I want to take my health and well-being into my own hands, and feel that there are many knowledgeable and trustworthy people here, and those who aren't are quickly outed. I can't help but feel that people look out for each other here.

I appreciate the opportunity to be here. It is rare that one finds a place where people speak their minds without worrying about being politically correct, hurting someone's feelings, or any number of other reasons that get in the way of honesty and a true exchange of knowledge.

A golden pecker wouldn't be so bad, though.

That's how you make a fucking intro!

Welcome to Meso brother, you will fit right in. Looking forward to getting to know you and hope to learn from any knowledge/experiences you are willing to share.

Much appreciated! I'll certainly listen more than talk for a while. I certainly have much to share, as I've lived an interesting life, but I have much to learn as well.

Welcome to Meso brother. We are thrilled that we were able to entice you enough to join us.

Thank you! The pleasure is all mine, though. This place has an old-fashioned feel to it. So many men have lost their boldness to political correctness and other such garbage. Not so much here.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome.
