Well, that is about as perfect of an answer as you're gonna get. Be sure to always do your squats first, though, and IMO you should make these about 85% of your leg day, meaning do RDL's and/or GM's, but really put your focus and energy into the squats. In all honesty, I am not a huge leg press fan but if your quads are that much of a problem then I would do something like Squat, RDL, Leg Press. Heavy weight (periodized properly) is always the way to go too, you'll hear people say 10-12 reps for hypertrophy but that's a load of shit...you'll get bigger from 5x5 than 10x10 anyday.
Also, unless you are eating a lot then it is unlikely that you will experience muscle growth anywhere, much less your quads. If you want bigger quads, you HAVE to eat a lot and bulk up, there is no such thing as eating 2,000 calories a day and having your quads get huge. There is no such thing as lean mass, or whatever those people who are 185lb and have been 185lb for 5 years call it (they're the ones still wanting to put on lean mass by eating 2,000 cals and doing a primo cycle). I think a lot of the time the advice in this training forum is great, but a lot of the time people are forgetting an extremely important part of muscle growth, and that is caloric intake. Eat a lot, get some weight gainer (like Serious Mass by Optimum Nutr.), get big as hell, get strong as hell in your squats, and I 100% guarantee your quads will grow. Once you do this, you can always cut down and your quads will still be bigger than they were before. It is that easy...you don't even need steroids.
If you wouldn't mind, could you post what you typically eat in the nutrition forum, along with your weight, height, steroid use, etc.? That plus the 5x5 or another good program will equal success.
