On Cycle Ancillaries + Supplements

Been doing some research on some ancillaries and supplements I should take while on cycle, and have created a short draft with a sentence to show my reasoning on why I'm taking it. Let me know if this is valid.

currently cruising on 280 mg test, 6 iu gh, and 250 iu hcg 3x a week (aromasin is on hand but I'm doing daily injections and I haven't noticed any e2 sides)

Morning (with breakfast)

  • Telmisartan 20–40 mg: (gonna start with 20, just gonna cut it in half since its 40mg tablet) Controls blood pressure via ARB mechanism
  • Nebivolol 5 mg: Lowers heart rate and prevents LVH + encourages vasodilation
  • Citrus bergamot 500 mg: Improves lipid profile and glucose homeostasis - need this since im taking gh

Afternoon (with snack)

  • TUDCA 500 mg: Supports liver function
  • Isotretinoin 10 mg: Helps with acne

Dinner (with protein)

  • Fish oil 2 g EPA+DHA: Lowers triglycerides and inflammation
  • Ezetimibe 10 mg: Reduces LDL cholesterol absorption
  • CoQ10 200 mg + Melatonin 100 mg: Ubiquinol coq10 supports mitochondrial energy and heart recovery, melatonin mega dosed has A LOT of antioxidant benefits (Ubiquinol is the better more active form than ubiquinone, since its 1.5–2x higher plasma levels in older adults, and bypasses conversion step that declines with age) (coq10 to coq2 is ubiquinone to Ubiquinol)

Where's the labs?
The more info/labs you provide, the better advice you're gonna get.

Average bp?
RHR?
HbA1c
Lipids?

Minus the Neb, those ancillaries can probably be taken year round tho

if you dont have excessive high hr and/or bp, for basic blast telmi +
nebivolol is quite overkill, no?

you can add statin, vit d, cialis etc... depends what you are takin.

Yeah I agree. My resting hr spikes pretty high, but regularly its decent. I posted this thread to see if I should just keep the nebivolol on hand, seems like I should.

What's your current health?

Supplements are one thing - medications thrown willy nilly without an actual problem to fix is dangerous.

Do you need heart meds? Is your BP high? Is your HR high?

I would, on the other hand, give a total pass on the ezetimbe - there's no too low for ldl, and almost everyone is at least moderately high anyway.

Solid cookie cutter setup that you can tweak as you learn more about your numbers and needs.

An electrolyte powder would be a nice addition.

I'd also consider a high dosed D3+K2 or cover it with a good multi like "Life Extension two per day"

My resting hr spikes pretty high in certain situations. I don't NEED heart meds.
I'll just keep the Ezetimibe on hand and decide to use it after my bloodwork.

RHR isn’t an indicator of needing heart meds though, you can have a high RHR with low blood pressure and the telm would be doing you a disservice. (I’m this way) check your BP every morning

I’d save the nebov for future emergencies rather than preemptively. Same with the Ezetimbe, other ways to lower your LDL before picking up the meds, upping the fish oil or some red yeast rice.

Agreed. For Blood Pressure i'd strongly suggest to look at Blood Hematology first. A Beta Blocker might put you into a stroke risk artificially when your Blood is screwed

Got most ROA from Pitavastatin or Rosuvastatin for Lipids, Nebivolol for BP & HR (although telmisartan is better for controlling bp, however nebivolol also lowers my RHR which I need), and Eplerenone for potential bloat & LVH prevention.

I'd consider something like a beta blocker. My doctor gave me propanalol recently for physical symptoms of anxiety/hr. It works very well, can be taken as needed or XR daily and is a relatively older medication with few side effects.

Any reason to take nebivolol VS propanalol?

I got a general question for the more experienced peeps. Does it make sense to have some of these pharma meds as preventative measures? I mean I’m like looking at my pharma order and it’s getting a little ridiculous. I haven’t ran gear for long at all, so I’ll probably have less issues than the people that have been on for a long time. I’m running supplements as supports for heart, liver, kidney health. I guess I just wanna see if ordering some Pharma stuff is worth it now or if I should hold off until down the line a little. I got normal bp levels (surprisingly) got labs I’ll do in a couple weeks.

Pitavastatin for sure to keep your LDL low

The way I look at it is its better to have on hand than to have to wait 3 weeks for an order of meds to get to you. A lot can happen in 3 weeks.

Also honestly Ive ordered 3 times from my Indian ancillary vendor and I wish I just would've order all of it at once. $50 shipping 3 times, versus could've used that $100 on meds the first time around if I just stocked everything up at once. So if you're order is looking too big, think bigger baha

My last blast I did labs prior and then one month in. Saw my lipid numbers and added pita, ez, and bemp. I had ordered those ahead of time.

After my blast I came off those - because I wanted my doc to rx them and he and the insurance would have to see labs to justify it.

I have nebiv and telmi on hand - in case during a blast I see the cv issues increasing. But I didn't have that issue during my last one - actually my bp got up high enough that I wasn't having mild orthostatic hypo when I stood. So if I had preemptively added I would have been in worse shape.

I think treating some of these much like you would treat any other ancillary. You don't just start running an AI or caber because you are on gear - unless you've already run that particular combo at that particular dose and know from your labs that you need a particular dose of that ancillary.

Order some and have it on hand? Sure. Start taking it without labs or symptoms? Negative.
