On TRT and little sex drive what gives?

I would not mean for you to do anything with out your Dr. blessing. I never do. You can get back to normal fast on the Arimidex then switch to Indolplex/DIM after your feeling better.

I will for sure but he's out till Thursday I'm staying in this weekend not much point in trying to get out and be social.

Like I said I have had problems with depression since high school I wounder if I have had these estrogen issues all along?

Got your PM chute, sorry I went to bed as soon as I got back from the gym yesterday
.

Well it's Sunday evening and I am starting to feel half of a man again. I think I can ride this out.
My next scheduled shot is Tuesday so makes some sense at least.
Next shot 60mg instead of 100

Viper--Let me share with you a little clue: taking too much of a PDE-5 inhibitor (all all the ED drugs you list are) will PREVENT you from having an erection. Man, you are taking toxic doses.

But what other choice do I have? Lesser doses have always failed.

Viper..i get a good result from just 5 mgs of cialis... the amount of these drugs that you are taking must be causing damage somewhere in your body??

The difference between you and everyone else and me is that I don't get turned on at all. I have no sex drive whatsoever. That is the reason I think that the lower doses always failed me. I started off taking just one and when that failed a few times then I would step it up a bit and so on until I arrived at this current level. This has been a two and a half year's worth of experimentation.

I can't tell that it's doing any damage to me but like I said before I don't see where I have any other choice but to do this because it works. It only works for just a little bit maybe 5 minutes worth or so but it does work.

I would gladly stop doing this but unfortunately there's nothing else out there that works for me. I'm open for suggestions if anybody has another idea.

Viper, hang in there, things will come around for you. I understand what you are going through right now knowing that things will get better is what you have to focus on. If you start to lose hope things can and will get ugly quickly.

Sounds like you have been jumping all over the place with your hormones, this alone is going to have your body in a state of chaos.

What you need to do is have patience and get yourself tuned in completely before you can expect to recover. Just because your numbers may look one way one week they may be totally different the next because your dosages have been all over the place.

Stay strong and ride this out, you have to believe that you won't feel this way forever and that things will come into check eventually. Like we have spoken of before, it can take 5 weeks for everything to "level out" and your doctor can make the corrections.

I have been going through some of the same issues as you have lately and I know how hard this is to get through hang tough!

So very true bigmark and very good advice. I have gone (still am) through all this for a very long time, but you MUST remain positive to get better.

Mark, I appreciate your comments. I think I have tried to remain positive. If not I would have given up a long time ago when the first doctor told me I was "normal". I do think that one day things will return to the way they were before I got sick. That thought is what keeps me going. That and remembering the fun I used to be able to have sexually.

I've sent an inquiry into a doctor in another state. If I can get in to see him he will be the first doctor I've seen that is trained in these issues. In preparation I stopped taking all supplements about three weeks ago in order to allow my system to level out.

Thanks again.

I think it is a good idea in your case to let hormones return to baseline so accurate and adequate testing can be done.
