Does anybody have any experience with Humanofort?

It’s been around for time, but it’s new to me…and just doing a bit of reading up on it - sounds like a winner (or is it just another ‘sales pitch’ for yet another supplement we never knew we didn’t need)!!

It’s ‘claimed’ Hormone balancing, better quality of sleep, and relief of mental and physical stress properties are particularly of interest to me - but it almost sounds too good to be true, and if it is legitimate I’d be pissed I’ve not come across it long before now!!

Be interested to know if anybody has any experience with it - good or bad!!

(I just cut & pasted the following from internet…)

It’s claims -

HUMANOFORT is commonly used to support natural hormone balance, sleep quality, muscle recovery, fat loss, and combat physical and mental stress.

Humanofort

What is Humanofort?

Humanofort™is a patent-pending Romanian supplement designed to help with a variety of medical and clinical problems. It is also said to increase testosterone levels, lower cortisol levels and normalize insulin levels. Even though this supplement was patented back in the late 1990s, there are currently only a handful of supplement manufacturers that have permission to sell Humanofort™.

Where does Humanofort come from?

As it has already been mentioned, Humanofort is a nutritional supplement originally produced in Romania. It is based on a purified extract from fertilized chicken eggs, according to the original patent specification. The final product is said to contain two oligopeptides, which are called embryonic pepptides. It should be mentioned that this supplement does not contain any synthetic or animal-based hormones.

Benefits of Humanofort?

Humanofort is said to possess a whole range of benefits. A frequently cited study on the supplement website states that 600mg of Humanofort per day was able to increase levels of free testosterone, androstenedione, and dehydroepiandrosterone (all anabolic hormones) by over 100%, while simultaneously reducing free radical oxidative stress by 30%. However, this study cannot be found in any reputable scientific journal. Similarly, for the claim that egg yolk from fertilized eggs increases follistatin levels - a protein said to inhibit myostatin (a protein that prevents excessive muscle growth) - no study confirming this can be found in any relevant scientific journal.
The only published study of the effects of Humanofort in humans found that 6 days of supplementation resulted in a reduction in insulin and cortisol levels, as well as an improvement in blood lipid levels. High insulin levels can progressively lead to the development of diabetes, while elevated cortisol levels (the so-called stress hormone) can lead to increased fat storage and elevated blood glucose levels. High cholesterol levels, as should be well known, can promote the development of cardiovascular disease. Thus, any improvement in insulin, cortisol and blood lipid levels can reduce the risk of future health problems.

Benefits of Humanofort for bodybuilders

High-intensity training, the use of stimulants such as caffeine, and caloric restriction, all potential aspects of bodybuilding or training for another sport, can increase cortisol levels, which, if left unchecked, can result in the negative effects mentioned above. Since the use of Humanofort can lower cortisol levels, this can help promote better body composition and more normal blood sugar levels. During mass building phases, high fat intake can negatively affect blood lipid levels and cholesterol levels, and Humanofort can provide support here as well.

Disadvantages and side effects

In the aforementioned study, supplementation with Humanofort over a 60-day period resulted in no negative side effects. However, the subjects experienced a reduction in IGF-1 (Insulin Like Growth Factor 1), a potent anabolic hormone that at extremely low levels increases the risk of developing neurodegenerative diseases, cardiovascular disease and heart disease, as well as a shorter lifespan. However, the subjects' IGF-1 levels were still in the normal range after 60 days of supplementation.

Intake recommendations

At the moment, there are no conclusive dosage recommendations for Humanofort. However, between 600 and 2000mg of Humanofort per day appears to be necessary to achieve the beneficial effects described. Timing of intake varies, but it is considered ideal to take 2 to 3 equal doses throughout the day in the morning, evening and/or at noon.

Humanofort Supplements

At the moment, Humanofort is available in capsule form as a monopreparation. The corresponding products are often referred to as "embryonic growth factor extracts", although the amount of growth factors contained or whether growth factors are contained at all is not known. In the context of the mentioned study it was explained that the embryonic peptides (the primary peptides in Humanofort) could possibly act similar to IGF (Insulin like Growth Factor) EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor), FGF (Fibroblast Growth Factor) and NGF (Nerve Growth Factor).

Combination with other supplements

Due to the possible reduction of IGF-1 levels during the use of Humanofort, one could combine this product with supplements that stimulate growth hormone release. In addition, Humanofort could also be combined with a testosterone booster as well as arginine and citrulline based products.
