OPSEC - using real name + delivery questions

After moving to a different state I was shocked when I got a USPS notice requiring me to go to the post office to certify a particular name lived at my address before they'd release that piece of mail or deliver any in the future.
Probably wanted you to fill out a File Form 1583. I know one is required for an UPS store before mail will be delivered. Never heard of it for a residential address before.

Fun Fact
If you wright down the names on mail you receive at the new address you wont need a Form 1583. Also, if you have a gift of gab, you can get the UPS store to file the Form 1583 in an "alias" without ID

meanwhile, here in NJ the previous owners of my home have been dead for nearly 20 years now and i still get junk mail addressed to them after repeatedly reporting to the local post office that they dont live there anymore, or anywhere for that matter.

Yeah, it seems like you get one type of USPS employee or another depending on location.

The more urban areas have those who don't GAF, who won't bother trying to deliver a package and just leave a notice in the box even when you're home.

The more rural areas have the kind that are way too nosy, commenting when they come to the door for a signature, "It's another letter from the IRS".

yeah, around here they dont give a fuck what name is on the mail.
Ive had all kinds of wacky shit come in, never once had anyone ask if that person lived there.

They see address and thats it from what it seems

So you can just use their name on your gear orders. Jk I'd still use my real name.

Fake names is how sellers get taken down, a vendor in another forum just has to send an email blast to all their customers telling them to stop using fake names because it was increasing seizures. Some sellers will also refuse to sell to you if they find out you’re using a fake name

In the 20 years I’ve been buying illegal shit online, I’ve always been told to use my real name. Opsec is a clean house, tor, and bitcoin then eventually monero. Buyer busts happen due to vendors keeping customer info and poor packaging/opsec by the vendor. Now a days tho with everyone requiring Bitcoin, buying this stuff anonymously isn’t really possible. Too many kyc checks on on/off ramping and Bitcoin has been de-anonymized for like a decade.

Other than huge quantities, buyer busts in the US don't happen unless a vial of oil leaks and local yokel law enforcement gets a call from a postal inspector.

Whether it's 30 vials of AAS oil, or a kilo of raws, it's been nothing but a love letter from customs for years now. Some of us have a dozen or more of them.

At least for the moment, AAS are a very low priority for the authorities, unless you're a seller. I don't see this admin changing that any time soon by going after guys, who largely represent the most productive part of the population, using drugs to build stronger bodies, not hurting anything other than their cardiovascular health and hairline.

Yeah, I honestly forget its illegal sometimes when ordering this stuff. Schedule 3 is so far down their list of priorities that the biggest threat is getting scammed.

I'm not sure they'd ignore ketamine or codeine, even though those are sched III, but it's pretty clear they've decided AAS aren't "community destroying" drugs like others.

Even the kingpins of multi million dollar steroid operations that have been busted in the last decade or so end up with fairly minor sentences of 2-3 years,

Not that going to jail wouldn't suck, but it's an indicator of what the authorities think of that particular crime. IE, it's fairly low level and not a major concern.

And that is the most annoying part. Vendors saving much Customer data, @malomkarom recently exposed a few and could tell you a few things about this.

In my own experience, vendors become really lazy to a point that LE has no issue to tracking parcels send/received and dropped within 6-8 months. Knowing everything. And guess what, sources dont even delete shipping labels, notes or have all the shit you bought saved in their emails or PC as a txt file with your crypto adress.

could it be because a lot of them are juicing Test themselves. found also some congressional letter somewhere from LE to congress 'we can enforce this since most countries this stuff is legal and they don't give a shit and do ship to the usa'

Yeah, I have heard of busted vendors or their brewers/shippers having a trove of old customer data essentially on a platter for LE.

noob here. I have some questions regarding opsec/anonymity and I want to go about this in the best way possible. These might be retarded questions but I couldn’t find a clear answer when browsing the forum.

When ordering from a vendor, is it best to use your real name or a fake one?

If I want to order to a PO Box, does the name registered with the PO Box have to match who the package is addressed to? Is it possible to open up a PO Box with a fake name or do you have to show ID?

Lastly, has anyone used a virtual mailbox service like iPostal1 for deliveries?
You could add "Not" and then your name.

LOL

I had brief period where I used a different name and it was fine but then I thought better of it.

Never had an issue using my real name or a fake name though. I recommend using your real name to avoid any possible suspicion or issues.

I had a Tennant that was a fucking lazy dog asshole cunt mother fucker that I threw out in the middle of winter. I used his name for like 2 years. I'd write "return to sender" and leave by the front door for a week then get into it.
