Glucophage isnt oral insulin. GP ( Metformin HCL ) is used help to lower blood glucose in patients with type two diabetes, by its prescibed usage. It kinda works like Slin, but it isnt.

Metformin works primarily by making skeletal muscle and the liver more sensitive to circulating insulin levels.
