Orion's transformation

Hey everyone, my name is Orion and this will be my journal for a while haha.

This is not just gonna be a quick 1 cycle log, but instead log my entire journey.

To start off, A little about myself.. I'm 26 years old, I've been on trt for a little over a year now at 140 mg a week. Due to a medical condition, I've always had low levels ( below 200). I started training at 130 lbs at 5'11 and through a TON of hard work got my body weight up to 170 or so but with a bit of fat.

Since starting trt, I went from where I was then to the 195 at 14% bf I am now. tomorrow I will be starting my first "blast" and will be running 300 mg of test cypionate a week. Pinning will be split into 2 weekly doses of 150 mg mon/thurs. I will post before pics, as well as diet and routine info in a little bit when I get home from work.

Any advice/input is welcome! I am glad to have found this board and look forward to being a contributing member!

Hey Leanmeatball! While I do see where you are coming from, That is actually one of the reasons I am go with a lower dose.. I'm not looking for drastic gains at all, I'm really just looking for a continuance of what I was previously experiencing when I started 140 mg a week. I will be eating a touch over maintenance but keeping my diet clean with more of a "healthful" approach rather than strictly bulking to bulk.

I noticed when I first started trt that by eating healthy foods slightly over maintainance that I had a nice recomp effect on my body composition all while improving my overall health.

I am aware that a time will come where in order to keep improving the development of my physique that I will need to venture into higher dosages and most likely other compounds. But for now my body responds quite well to lower dosages and I feel it would be a waste to not take advantage of that. I'm not running a sprint here to the finish. I have my whole life ahead of me to build my physique to perfection and slow and steady will hopefully help keep me healthy enough to enjoy my progress and the journey for many years to come.

Alright so got my bloodwork done this morning and took my second pin for this week bringing my total to 300mg. I will be using UGL for cycle and not my script as I prefer to save the script for cruising afterwards.

Sorry for not posting diet and routine details lastnight. Work was chaotic but I will definitely have time tonight so I will update as soon as I get home.

UGL's are not reliable, one extra reason to go higher than 300mg.
Unless your goal is only to progress slowly instead of achieving the best possible physique you can, theoretically speaking, you should always try to get big gains as early as possible, as your body is loosing its natural potential. Higher doses would give you far better results now than in a year and probably better overall results in a long run...
But if that is not your ambition, your plan is probably safer from the sides.

But I wouldn't call it a transformation! :D

I do see where you guys are coming from. Especially about UGL being unreliable.. I Actually have test from 2 different suppliers, both have been around a while so I am hoping they are legit but I suppose there's only one way to find out.. I will be getting bloods while on though so that will say something about these labs and I would be more than happy to share my findings if anyone is interested.

So in your guys opinion, it would be better to run this at 500 mg a week and gain more quickly rather than at a lower dose and slowly upping doses in later cycles?

As far as diet goes my day usually looks pretty similar to this..

7 am: 1 scoop ON whey with 1 cup of oats and 1 Apple.

745: workout

915:1 scoop ON whey 1 cup of blueberries and 2 tbs honey

10: 6 oz chicken sautéed in coconut oil with 1/2 green pepper, 1/2 red pepper and half an onion. 2 cups of rice.

1: 2 cups skim milk, 2 slices whole wheat bread, 2 tbs natty pb, 1 tbs strawberry jam

330: 6 oz chicken, 2 cups salad, oil for dressing with lemon juice and pepper.

630: 8 oz chicken, 6 oz whole wheat pasta, 1 cup of pasta sauce

10: 2 cups skim milk, 1/2 cup cottage cheese

Always get around a gallon and a half of water a day. Some days I substitute lean beef or turkey for chicken, and switch around my carbs but I always try to keep the diet pretty similar. If I stall on gaining weight for a couple weeks I add in an extra 200 cals or so until weight stalls again.

While I'm on cycle I will probably up the cals a good bit. Probably around 500 extra at first then as weight gains slow I will continue to keep adding more until it's time to maintain.

I take rest days as necessary. Always rest after shoulder day. Sometimes I will rest after legs as well. Depends how I am feeling week to week. Once every 6-8 weeks I will drop intensity and have a week with light weights as an active rest week/deload.

I start with some stretching and 5 mins walking on an incline for a warm up while thinking about the days workout.

I like to add in 10-15 mins walking on an incline 2-3 days a week immediately after lifting as well.

This week has been a rest week as I plan on hitting it hard now that I'm upping the dose. I will start logging workouts tomorrow.
