1/4 cup steel cut oats
2 tbsp PB2 powdered peanut butter
1 scoop vanilla protien powder
1 tbsp honey
3/4 cup almond milk
In a Mason jar 4 hrs min in refrigerator
This is what I'm doing now. Looking for other recipes.
Without cooking them , I guess it takes 3 to 4 hours for the oats to soak up the almond milk and soften up. The reason there called overnight oats is because you let them sit overnight. Google overnight oats it's a thing..So are you sprouting the oats?
Seriously just trying to get a handle on why you're letting 'em sit.

No I swear. NeverSir have you been browsing Pintrest?
I tried this with steel cut oats and it was a fail. The steel cut oats are just to tough. They never soften up without cooking. I should have bought rolled oats.I make overnight oats by mixing oats with skim milk and leaving in refrigerator overnight. Add fruit in AM and it's gtg!
