Owner of Texas Underground Steroid Lab Prepared to Kill Police Officers

The apparent owner of an underground steroid lab (UGL) operating out of his Austin-area apartment was arrested last week. Damon Bruce Beshears told police that he had planned on killing as many police officers as possible if his apartment was ever raided. An informant made an undercover steroid purchase from Beshears which was the basis for the search warrant which uncovered approximately 5,000 capsules of oral steroids such as Anadrol (oxymetholone) and Winstrol (stanozolol) and 240 vial of injectable steroids such as testosterone.
