Hmmm, so as you can tell I don't do this very often and have overlooked that part. I'm thinking after the answer is cast the participants would then certainly be free to investigate on their own. I mean, truth be told, I'd probably take a guess in my head and then look it up prior to answering. But I'd answer it honestly.

I smoke a lot of weed and I knew he'd hung 'round until 1970 something.
If nothing else cubism and surrealism didn't really come into vogue until the early 20th century. Putting the other answers outside the realm of possibility.

I would have guessed a few hundred years ago myself. No clue about art. My art history is confined to online memes that my wife sends me haha.
