Pacquiao-Marquez

i put $15 on the pacman for this fight and i feel i got robbed, i agree with you that marquez has him figured out but im not putting money on the next fight, way to close to call. remember, freddie roach may be the best trainer in the game and im sure hell have a good game plan for the pacman to find marquez in the rematch, i cant wait.

yea bro, that sucks you did get robbed, i rember a buddy who dumped a whole lot on lewis in lewis holyfield one, another vegas draw, anyway ur prolly right roach will have him ready, he needs to jab and go to body some, u think? , i think that and counters, i made some good cash off holyfield toney, think i should make some here to, hopefully pacman favored, dont follow my lead tho, i may go down in flames lol

Pac is one-dimensional. Now more people know it. Marquez, in the rematch, has to stick to his game plan like he did for 11 rounds in this fight. Marc Ratner just stated that the judge that scored the first round 10-7 made a judgement call and that Pac has no grounds for a protest.

Well, if they call the 3rd knockdown a true knockdown, then they should also disqualify Pacquiao for hitting a downed opponent. I saw that 3rd knockdown as a trade because technically, they could have shitcanned the whole fight right then and there....or, rather than DQ him, they could have very easily taken a point from pacquiao....thus the 3rd knockdown was a wash.

Further, though they score on points, had you judged on rounds, ring generalship, boxing skill, effective punching, then Marquez won the fight hands down. I mean, dont get me wrong, pacquiao has a lot of heart but in the same token, all he does is run in and try to steam roll his opponent with a running punch. He was outclassed by Marquez heavily throught he majority of the fight.

yea, i see your point. it was a close fight, but i felt those knockdowns at the beginning made the difference. im not so pissed about the draw as i am for that one judge who had it 115-110 for marquez, i mean, it was a very competetive fight and some rounds couldve gone either way, but pacman surely won more then 2 rounds.

I agree, the 115-100 marquez ruling was way out in left field. I dont know what fight he was watching because Marquez did not win each of the last 11 rounds. Then again, he was a canuck so whatdya expect ???

:D

lol, yea i noticed that he was canadian too. was kinda pissed until i noticed he was a french canadian and they're not liked even by the reat of canada.

Nobody likes the french, they are too snooty and full of their own shit.

A french canadian kid introduced me to the word "greenhorn" on the playground of my elementary school and when I learned what it meant from my grandmother, I then proceeded to kick the shit out of his little french ass in front of Mrs. Bettencourt's house....I still hate them.

Marquez

i believe the fight could have gone either way...they are both great fighters

i would put my money on Marquez in a rematch.
just consider how well he did to get back into into it dazed after almost getting knocked out, swallowing blood and with a busted nose for 11 rounds.

just imagine him 100%!

That's IF he can stay focused. Remember, he had a game plan for this fight too, but it almost went out the window in the first round.

pac was robbed! i would expect the rematch to go in favor of pac too... only because if i was pac i would be pissed and want a definitive win next time out, even though it was pretty definitive this time out!

yea, looks like i would pic pacman in the rematch too actaully. he broke his hand in the first or second round he said, which can always be an excuse but i seen his hand and it looks exactly like mine did when i broke it in a fight in high school.
